Still not hype, but I pray it is a good one. I don't need much, just a little glimpse of hope

Indeed, there's a reason I'm peeking in here and it ain't for games announcements. Seeing people whipping themselves into a religious fervour is always good for a giggle.

I hope it delivers for you dudes.

Why can't I hold all these ironies in this post.

Do you know what this means? This means that the 41 minute-long Direct may be the LONGEST NINTENDO DIRECT NINTENDO HAS EVER DONE.

So it seems Nintendo saves X for the end (rightfully so as its their best exclusive right now imo). Cool I'll tune in for the last 15 mins.

Why can't I hold all these ironies in this post.
Because you assume I'm not being sincere. Do you think I'd whip myself into a frenzy over the Vita if I didn't enjoy it? Same thing with this thread. I'm not all that big on text memes, but some of the gifs are priceless.

I do hope this direct delivers for y'all. Seriously.

nearly 5 hrs to go... (4pm/central). "I'm sooo excited...i'm sooo excited jessespano.gif"

I'm hoping to see at ND:

Z:MM 3D (heart me!)
DQ VII
Metroid 2D
GBA VC...... I wish!

They maybe saving these for e3 for surprises:

Zelda U
Metroid U
DQ X

Please Understand. Monolith Soft's new game will launch next month and come with a collectible figurine of Shulk with a light up Monado.

"hello everyone. So, you were right. Vc games are too expensive right now. So, aditionary, starting today, all VC games will recieve a permanent 50% price cut"

Most of the games will just be new trailers to games that have been announced there might be like ONE new game they will show...sad face.

Considering we haven't seen a trailer for Bayo 2 or X for 8 months now, that's not a bad thing. Anything in addition to those two are a plus.

Don't do this to me. I would love a new Endless Ocean. Why must that franchise be forsaken? It sold over a million copies.Blue World did .84 million.

now here's a separate list for announcements which are entirely outside the realm of possibility:

  • Yarn Ridley announced for Smash
  • Xenoblade spinoff dating sim - Players will get to know up close all the characters from the complex affinity tree featured in the original, as Riki the Nopon.
  • ExciteWave - codevelped by Monster and Next Level, featuring the cast of StarFox as announcers!
  • Captain Falcon's Tower Defense (eshop)

[*]Endless Ocean 3: Wario's Oil Spill Cleanup Crew. Dive into the deep to rescue precious corals and endangered wildlife, then scrub them clean of chemicals and tar in short microgame sequences using the Wii U's touch screen.
  • Trauma Team X Metroid. Lead a crew of Galactic Federation Doctors as you attempt to purge the body of an unconscious Samus Aran of alien infestations. Gain new insight into the Federation's political intrigue as you attempt to balance your patient's health against the need to extract military grade biological samples.
  • Prince Tricky's Brain and Meditation Training and Guide to the Louvre(3DS)

quoting myself from earlier in the thread

Is anyone really saying this though? It's clear as Crystal Pepsi you enjoy your Vita. I think people just wanted to point it out because you're labeling those who enjoy Nintendo games as fanatics. Can't we just agree that we are all a little fanatical?

so i heard Iwata will end this nintendo direct by getting really close to the camera and start whispering: "WiiU be my valentine?"

Alright, this is what I want:

- Metroid 3DS / Wii U
- Klonoa on SSB4 + Release Date
- Mother 1-3 Collection for 3DS
- Majora's Mask 3DS
- Hyrule Warriors Trailer
- X Trailer, approx. release date
- Advance Wars 3DS, going back to cheerful artstyle
- Pokemon Z announcement/teaser
- Monolith Soft's 3DS JRPG Trailer
- Persona Q coming to NA/Europe

Yep. Sounds about right.

Edit: Oh man. First post. Perfect. Let's get the hype going.

BTW since I work at a Play N Trade.
Here are some dates in the computers
I just want to forewarn that dates and prices CAN CHANGE but it's something to look forward to.

ONCE AGAIN don't get overly hyped as prices/dates can change. these are all set by coporate however.
Sonic Boom has a listing in the computer as well but it's dated 12/31/13 so didn't bother and Bayonetta 2 has no listing.

KInd of hope Bayonetta 2 is a Summer game. Spring is way too packed on the consoles I do own to let the WiiU in at that point.

So I guess I'm probably actively wishing against what many in here actually want, haha.

Serious question: when was the last direct that didnt disappoint?
Let me put is this way, when was the hype completely justified?

Not trying to troll here, im genuinely curious.

There's not that much announced right now, and what is announced we don't have very many details on, so that's not exactly a bad thing.

All of them?
There has never been a disappointing Direct. Only insane expectations.
