Xb1/PS4 owners, are you happy with your purchase or regret it?

A simple question, are you happy with your purchase, or do you regret it, can you please explain why or why not?

And do you think the leap over current gen was enough to justify the systems existence?

Edit: Remember these are peoples opinions so don't take them personally.

PS4, I am happy with it, but I'll be happier when there is more games, feel like I've chosen the better console and I much prefer the DS4 over the new Xbox Controller.

Erm, too early to tell, but playing games in full 1080p @ 60fps is a joy. I'm struggling to go back tbh.

I almost ordered an Xbox One simply due to Titanfall, but after playing Beta on PC (my computer isn't really good enough to justify me buying the full game for it) I probably won't, game is good but not good enough to spend £430 on a new console good.

I am very happy, games like FIFA and NBA 2k last me a whole year, until the next one, because the gameplay is great and playing them in 1080p, 60fps just further enhances already great games. I am still not used to the visuals, playing in Staples Center in NBA 2k still makes me go "woah!" looks amazing.

I am not happy with Killzone, its okay, and i got it bundled. I bought Rayman Legends which is releasing in 5 days so that will be exciting until Infamous.

I loaned AC4 and enjoyed it a ton, might pick that one up as well.

Barely touch my PS3 and 360, not played 3DS since LBW, and i only play Hearthstone on PC, everything else is PS4, all day, erry day.

Very happy with it, can't even look at my 360 anymore!

Can't wait for Rayman this week and then Garden Warfare week after and Titanfall week after.

I love my PS4, but I overestimated the amount of time that I would be able to play it. With a wife, two little kids, my full time job, and the fact that I am going to school for my masters I only get to play on my portable devices. The Vita was and still is the only platform that I can really invest my time in.

I don't regret the PS4 purchase but I regret buying AC4 for it because I can never play it. I should've gotten it for Wii U instead because with Off TV play I would actually be able to play it. (Vita Remote play is pretty good but not quite good enough for me, at least after playing Wii U off TV play which basically feels like the game is running locally on the gamepad).

I got my XB1 for free. Very happy with it. I do wish it had Sky Go though and more Lego type games. Basically I want to move the 360 and I can't.

Loving my PS4. Resogun and Don't Starve have been great, and I'm between matches on BF4 right now. :-)

I was very happy with both but now that I'm planning on playing Titanfall on PC im running out of reasons to keep my XB1. I'm going to wait to see how Halo and Quantum Break look at E3 before I decide what to do.

Use my XBO every day and been playing Titanfall lately which I enjoy so yeah I'm pretty happy with it.

Regretting PS4 pretty hard. Just sitting there collecting dust. Knack sucks, BF4 is BF4, Madden is the utmost piece of garbage, and KZ couldn't be more boring. Enjoying Resogun for the few hours I played. Granted I only really bought it for MLB 14, but that May release date is killing me.

LOVE my XBONE though

I'm perfectly happy with my PS4. Still having fun with Battlefield 4 and Killzone Shadow Fall. Right now I'm waiting for Infamous Second Son.

Loving my Xbox One, still playing through dead rising and counting the days till Titanfall. Also lots of friendly matches of fifa with mates

I'll be here for the whole next-gen journey and that makes me happy. Playing the Titanfall beta and seeing the sharpness filter go away has made me real happy. I have an Xbox One right now (Day One purchase). Once Naughty Dog starts dropping games on PS4 I'll get that too.

I am pretty happy with PS4. All the games have been worth it so far and I'm looking forward to MGS and Infamous next month.

I'm loving my PS4. I just need to buy more games.

Being able to play the best versions of multiplats also makes me happy.

Roommate bought an Xbox One and I've been enjoying it immensely. I may pick up one for myself come March when Titanfall comes out.

Happy with my x1, my ps4 needs games it hasnt been turned on in a while. Wish that tales of symphonia or south park was coming out for it.

PS4 - Happy with it. I have a lot of PS3 back catalog I'm working through but overall, I couldn't ask for more. Well, aside from DNLA and themes.

I picked up a PS4 and I've been very happy. As expected, most console launch games are a dissapointment, but I've actually loved my time with ACIV and Warframe. (Much to the chagrin of my Wii U which I recently purchased a bunch of games for.) I'm excited to see what this year will bring. (And I also really hope some last gen games coming out now get quick and effective port ups.)

I'm hopeful MS will start making a real effort to sell me on their console, starting substantial with a price drop. I'm not opposed to it, but the investment in a second console purely for exclusives is a hard sell. Should be an interesting year.

XB1 and happy. Killer Instinct turned out better than I hoped and Ryse was a really pleasant surprise. Max: CoB and Dead Rising 3 are quite fun as well. The current demo of Kinect Sports Rivals (wave racing is a lot of fun) makes me pretty optimistic about the full release in April or May. My only regret is buying Forza 5 (I'm not a sim racer fan).

Got a PS4 at launch and I'm really enjoying it. I seriously considered not going through with it because I had never bought a console at launch before (and for good reason), but things are working out pretty well so far.

PS4

Going to get one anyway so not really a loss but I've probably spent less than 10 hours playing it since launch. Serves as a pretty good USB charger though.

Very happy with XB1, more so than I would have thought. I've also been enjoying the PS4 but that's not the one I have with me at school so I clearly haven't been using it as much.

Oh and something something Titanfall.

PS4, very happy with it so far. I don't play a lot of hours so YMMV but I am working through AC4 right now and having a very good time. I'm looking forward to Infamous SS. It is a bit sparse right now for games and I certainly don't see anything wrong with waiting. Personally, I was happy to get in from on ground floor (so to speak), for better or worse.

Regarding whether they justify existing.... certainly. I love how snappy the OS is, how quickly games load, how screenshot uploading just works. It's not perfect but it feels like a huge leap from PS3/360 to me.

And by holiday this year there will be a ton of good games, no doubt.

Im happy, I cant wait for Titanfall and Garden Warfare.
I was initially disapointed in the UI, but it has grown on me and the voice calibration thingy really improved the voice controls.

Im still waiting for Sunset Overdrive and a few other games down the pipeline.

Uhh, ask me after I've played Infamous... But right now, regret my PS4, mostly. I have it unplugged from the TV to free up an input since I use it so little.

However I did buy a new gaming PC at almost the exact same time. But if I hadn't gotten a PS4 I'd have been so tempted to get one now anyway, so there's no scenario where I wouldn't want one. So I guess, I'm happy? In a round about way? But looking forward to Infamous.

Very happy with my PS4, excellent value for money. Knowing that I'll be able to play the best version of any multiplat title of this new generation on my system that cost me less than the weaker hardware the competition is offering for a higher price feels good, and I'm looking forward to the many great first and second party games.

I have both and am happy. Last gen lasted way too long for me and I don't game on PC so the graphical upgrades are pretty huge. Even the Xbox One makes games look much, much better than the PS3/360. The PS4 gets more use because it has better games (mainly due to better mutiplats) and I pay for PS+. The Xbox One is solid and I really like Killer Instinct. It will prove its worth when Halo 5 comes out. The only quibbles I have are that the media functions in both consoles feel like a step back from the PS3/360. I'm sure that will improve over time.

I fucking love my PS4, I really do, is a very incredible piece of hardware that does exactly what a next gen machine needs to do for me.

I have only played AC4 and Warframe but I don't only use for that, I watch lots of blurays, and lots of Netflix and I surf the net instantly if I want.

When I saw AC4 at 1080p at 30fps and Im serious when I say that I have not noticed slowdowns at all I said to myself "If all games from now on are like this I will be happy the whole gen" anything more than that is a plus for me, like 60fps.

Super happy :)

Xbox One. Loving it.

*Good games that look much better than last gen (some of which aren't on other competing consoles)

*Fast game start-up with features such as kinect voice control, kinect IR blaster, and suspend/resume

*Good controller (better than 360 controller IMO even though it took time to get used to the bumpers)

*Always connected to Xbox Live ecosystem and Xbox Live friends no matter what I am doing and/or watching on my TV due to the system's HDMI In. TV channels, apps, and (digital) games can all be accessed simply by saying their name

*Runs very quiet; doesn't run hot; much more of a reliable system in comparison to the original Xbox 360

Edit: Titanfall is SO GOOD.

ps4 dont regret it, but getting bored

i have beaten Knack..and thats about it... the fact it cant stream media is frustrating too.

Ill be happy with dying light though :)

Have both and don't regret it, although as often happens the selection has been a bit limited since launch. I have a Wii U, handhelds, and a gaming PC though so there's more than enough games to go around.

Lot of interesting games coming later this year so hopefully there's not a price drop before then to make me feel bad! Then again I enjoy having things early so I doubt I'd care all that much.

Been using the PS4 controller on my PC, hoping the One's controller gets driver support soon because I prefer the feel and size of it. Both are pretty stellar in that regard. PS4's OS is super bland and simple which is disappointing, I really like the XMB although the speed is pleasant. Xbox One's os system obviously has work that needs to be done but I much prefer it and I'm looking forward to the updates. Xbox music needs to work in the background!

I freakin love my PS4. It may be my favorite system ever owned ( in terms of looks / style / power / potential / etc. ). It is slick as hell looking either vertical or horizontal, everyone who sees it loves it, the blue / White / Red LED strip is awesome, the controller is 100x better then the DS3, the UI is slick and fast and easy to navigate, the system is sturdy but light, looks like it belongs in the center of my entertainment center, it is powerful for the price, it comes with a truckload of free ( and great ) software, etc.

Can't be more happy with the PS4. Sharing is awesome, broadcasting is awesome. All sorts of awesome. Sitting back and playing Warframe gives me such joy with the DS4.

Very happy with the PS4, except for the lack of a blu ray remote...

The XB1 was an incredible disappointment, and I took it back within 48 hours... Wanted to like it, because I liked the 360 but I simply can't. Seems like an incredible ripoff, especially with a PS4 to compare it to
