getting the silph scope.
I guess that's a fair point, although I think the majority was pretty fed up with the Hideout+Anarchy combination by that point. That was like a hive decision to just get the hell out of there. The dig moment was pretty funny but democracy taking control seemed like a pretty reasonable reaction, and once we got it people instantly all decided to return to anarchy and have some fun.

We're poisoned?

EDIT: Holy shit selfdestruct

Pidgeot soaking up all the exp...

I know people have pointed it out but that's going to really bite us in the ass.

I'd argue it already is. Pidgeot's poisoned, has his accuracy lowered, and the rest of our underleved team is folding like origami

Edit: Thanks Koga

Didn't even die. Nice moves.

Well....... this is interesting. Mirror move instead of gust. Actually really good in the long run.

I'm waiting to see a match like this.

"Enemy Graveler used Selfdestruct!"

"Bird Jesus used Mirror Move! Bird Jesus used Selfdestruct!"

Self Destruct with his last pokemon.

It's a bold move and it's a shame it didn't pay off for him.

Dat clutch Mirror Move gain.

Gust being gone doesn't matter. It's a normal type, same power as quick attack and with no added first strike bonus.

The issue is if we run out of money from failed Safari Zone attempts then the game will be unbeatable. Also what does the social experiment prove if we beat it in anarchy mode?
About that, I thought I read that the Safari Zone will let you in even if you have no money? If that's not true then that would definitely make it a different case.

The stream started with anarchy mode. If we beat it in anarchy mode then we can prove the game is beatable with 50000 monkeys on a typewriter. The streamer said he thought it may be impossible to beat the harder parts of the game without better coordination, so he introduced democracy. However I don't think he intended the game to be played almost fully in democracy mode, which a lot of people seem to want.

Don't get me wrong, I think the democracy mode is a good addition, but I think it would be better if it would only be enabled if we really are stuck in a place where progress seems impossible (Safari Zone for example, later maybe Ledge 2). The anarchy-democracy war is distracting us from playing the actual game.

All I wanna say is, don't do democracy at every little setback. Yes the Tower took ages, but we did it. If we finished that last floor in democracy mode, it wouldn't feel as an accomplishment anymore. Same with the PC, many people want to use the PC in democracy mode to avoid releasing pokemon by accident, but what's the fun in that? The craziness and unpredictableness of this stream is what makes it so amusing and got us these memes. I think the stream would be way less interesting if everything was done in, basically, "safe mode".

At least that's my 2cents.

edit: oh. new page. Erm. PRAISE HELIX!

Mirror Move in the #1 doesn't bode well. Does that move fail if the enemy hasn't made a move yet? Now Pidgeot will be wasting the first turn of each battle. And the move he'll be reflecting back will often be not effective against their original user.

Yeah.... hope they don't go for fly. Just train the other mons, and Jss is still useful, but not going to hog as much EXP. I think it's a good thing.

But why?

Gust sucks, it's normal with 40 damage. It's barely any better than tackle, quick attack is better in every way.

Before, we had a 50% chance to use an attacking move.

Now, we have a 25% chance, and Gust was on the first slot so we could do thing like the a spam in erika's gym

mirror move will probably make the game more interesting

I have to admit this is true.

It's not a roulette between 50% OHKO (or 2HKO as it's becoming), 25% Sand Strat, and 25% lose turn anymore. Now it's going to be 25% Lose Turn, 25% Sand Strat, 25% OHKO, and 25% of whatever else could be in that battle.

If we weren't liable to randomly teach that shit to Pidgeot, I'd saw we go get Fly and hold on to it until we reach Indigo Plateau.

The way this stream is going, they'll get fly and proceed to teach it to Bird Jesus immediately.

If people were complaining about dig, this will be much worse.

But why?

Gust sucks, it's normal with 40 damage. It's barely any better than tackle, quick attack is better in every way.

Thing is, we are barely able to use damage dealing attacks as it is. Its not by choice that we use moves like sand-attack over and over again. Having multiple damage dealing attacks help.

Just when you think that this can't get any more sadistic, chaos finds a way. I guess it's not as bad as outright releasing Based Bird.
