The issue is if we run out of money from failed Safari Zone attempts then the game will be unbeatable. Also what does the social experiment prove if we beat it in anarchy mode?
About that, I thought I read that the Safari Zone will let you in even if you have no money? If that's not true then that would definitely make it a different case.
The stream started with anarchy mode. If we beat it in anarchy mode then we can prove the game is beatable with 50000 monkeys on a typewriter. The streamer said he thought it may be impossible to beat the harder parts of the game without better coordination, so he introduced democracy. However I don't think he intended the game to be played almost fully in democracy mode, which a lot of people seem to want.
Don't get me wrong, I think the democracy mode is a good addition, but I think it would be better if it would only be enabled if we really are stuck in a place where progress seems impossible (Safari Zone for example, later maybe Ledge 2). The anarchy-democracy war is distracting us from playing the actual game.
All I wanna say is, don't do democracy at every little setback. Yes the Tower took ages, but we did it. If we finished that last floor in democracy mode, it wouldn't feel as an accomplishment anymore. Same with the PC, many people want to use the PC in democracy mode to avoid releasing pokemon by accident, but what's the fun in that? The craziness and unpredictableness of this stream is what makes it so amusing and got us these memes. I think the stream would be way less interesting if everything was done in, basically, "safe mode".
At least that's my 2cents.
edit: oh. new page. Erm.
