Well, Chun is good for footsies no doubt and Lili is good for rush down but I don't know if they have good combo synergy.

Team poverty since I can place better in games no one enters.

I honestly think Chris was looking back at the match being frustrated with losing that badly but then sucked it up to shake Paradigm's hand as good sportsmanship. However, since Paradigm initiated the handshake and Chris raised his hand a bit too late, Paradigm assumed Chris wouldn't shake his hand since he was just lifeless right there. It was just awkward timing for the both of them. Doesn't change the fact that Chris was salty, he'll bounce back though and level up.

I Don't expect handshakes at tournies really- I rarely get them on the occasions I win. Maybe it's how I play.

I just want to say that the Paradigm match was amazing because ChrisG is an amazing Marvel player. He knows so many different characters, has the knowledge and ability to play them so well Justin Wong tier. While some people see salt, I see ChrisG upset that he didn't play better and wears his loses more than his wins on his sleeve.

Solomon Grundy's better

Wow, I forgot about Grundy. Yeah, he's among the best designed grapplers in fighting games.

You listed a bunch of reasons why Grundy is a great grappler, let me add a couple of more:

--His "pain chain" grab can be used during juggles, and doesn't scale. You'll always get a 21%-31% boost in damage to your combo if you choose to use it. It can be clashed out of, but oh well.

--He has meaty grab setups that cannot be jumped, so the opponent must use a reversal, which is very risky.

--Has guaranteed resets into his pain chain grab, I believe. This tech might not be as good as it used to be when it was first discovered.


I think Bane might be an overall better grappler than Grundy, but I currently forget why that is. In any case, Grundy definitely deserves a place among the best grapplers in fighting games.
