I'm not sure but I think both the silver and black version of the cover have been used previously.

EDIT: You know what'd be crazy? If they performed the entire album live as a debut.
 
Kendrick's definitely gotten better at performing live, but he still skips too many lyrics sometimes, and it really changes the vibe of the performance.

Jay Rock screams too much live.

Kendrick is a lot better live than he was a year ago. The word skipping is Nas-like in its weirdness, just throws you off. But then again, the crowd is so hype I understand why he does it.

Hey everyone, first post in this thread. While I am by no means a hip hop head, I do love me some good rhymes. I recently discovered the hip hop duo created by rappers Cage and Tame One called "The Leak Bros." As far as I know they only released one album and every song is about PCP. Extremely dark shit, but I'll be damned if it doesn't have some really quality tracks.

Check out the song that is the same name as the album, Waterworld.

Cage's backstory and childhood just makes him such a fascinating figure to me. He had to help his father inject heroin when he was just a small child and, after his father was imprisoned, suffered years of abuse from his step-father. At one point he ended up in a mental hospital for 18 months and became a guinea pig for Prozac, going on to attempt suicide twice while taking it. So yeah...it is some pretty raw stuff.

EDIT: And since this is my first post, I have to represent my hometown. (Uncensored)

You might want to look up Nighthawks, it was a project with Cage and Camu Tao from the same time frame. Had them playing a corrupt NYC detective pairing.

tbh I don't really like Cage outside of Hell's Winter tho

Damn, have to start downloading from the very bottom. I've been there. Sucks.

Piñata is dope. Gibbs flow and voice are definitely some of my favorites in rap. Soulful samples, gangsta shit. Definitely going to be a good driving album. Going to be interesting to see if it sticks with me enough to throw it on throughout the weeks/months.
 
Leak Brothers was good, so was Nighthawks. It's Cage's recent shit I can't fuck with.

you can really tell who is in shape and who isn't based on live performances. And by in shape I don't really mean physically, it's more about practicing breath control and having a routine. Action Bronson is fat as fuck yet gets through his verses quite well live. On the flip side, Nas looks like he's still 20 years old yet loses energy 20 minutes into his performances.

I saw Nas a while back with Damian Marley and when he performed in Riverside shortly before that and he was awesome then, but he was on touring and performing alot more. (This was before Life is Good)
 
Saw Nas with Damian Marley and without, I have to say it was far better with Damian Marley and his crew. They added so much energy to the show.

So Jay refused to be Kanye's best man because he doesn't want his family to be on Kim's show?

Kanye's weak if he caved in to Kim's demands. At least from what's been reported, Ye has been resisting it every step of the way and Jay basically told him there's no way you're seeing me, B or Ivy on reality TV, which is the stand up thing to do.
