  • People still want Suikoden II on PSN
  • Fans want Suikoden 6
  • Seriously, guys, where's PC version of MGS#?
  • when's bohbaman?

Yes remake MG1 and 2, those games are more "non-canon" than the ignored Portable Ops.

Seems like it would be a good way for Kojima to close out the series too. Remake MG1, 2 and MGS with the fox engine and then the entire story is playable from start to finish with pretty decent mechanics and he can move on to other projects.

That's the dream

Geoff is a PC hater

He'd rather tweet from a old Xbox with a homebrew browser than from a PC. He probably loves the idea of playing strategy games with a controller. He reads emails from a modified Dreamcast VMU just to avoid using a PC. Keighley is Hebrew for 'comfy couch person'. He likes to call his friend Hideo 'Couchima'. The last time he saw Steam was when trying to play Shadow Of The Colossus on a old PS2.

You can't end the MGS series more perfectly than a Solid Snake vs Big Boss showdown.

I'm not really aching for a MGS1 remake because it's fine as it IMO and it was already remade once.

The Boss, World War 2, German developed Metal Gear made to launch nuke, Nazi bosses, Cobra unit as support cast.

I'd hire him to just stare at Geoff from a distance at random moments in his life.

O my god they should totally do a sketch of that for the next VGAs.

Geoff standing in line in the supermarket with a bag of Doritos, suddenly he notices Joel standing there just staring at him.

I'm chuckling at the thought, haha.

I'm a little dismayed to see this championed all the time. The problem is that most of the staff are long gone, some of them in other industries, most of them either independent or at competitors now. We can't force them back to Silent Hill and Konami. I would rather more fans suggest alternative studios or creative minds... Because reforming the team is the least likely scenario.

1.Give it to the dev team that created 'Rule Of Rose'. They know how to perfectly capture the essence of a Silent Hill story.

2. Hire Jeremy Blaustein as a voice-over director as he was the one that gave the Silent Hill games its edge and wrote those incredible translations of the first four games.

3. Get Owaku back into the mix, he still works at Konami, right?

Hey man, Jeremy's got his own thing going these days (President of Iqioi Co., Ltd.). Though I get what you are saying, "Get someone as good as Blaustein or better to write incredible translations..."

I am 100% sure Jeremy Blaustein will come to the project if you contact him. I can attest to that. Get Owaku back as the scenario writer and Team Silent is as good as reborn!

You don't need to reform the team, you need to bring back 2 or 3 key people that have a clear vision of what they want and outsource the development to a smaller Japanese dev so these 2 or 3 person can have direct control over development. HexaDrive, Eighting and Dimps all come to mind. I doubt they'd make a worse game than all those b level western developers Konami keeps outsourcing the games to.

There's no reason why those Japanese dev teams can't be using the FOX Engine either.

Konami keeps running their franchises into the ground and they only have themselves to blame.

Frictional Games

Don't worry, this one is free. But I expect some kind of gift when this idea becomes the reborn of SH.

Just Get Owaku as the scenario writer. He's like the bible, heart and soul of the Silent Hill universe. His involvement alone will get hearts racing across the fandom.

Imagine:

Owaku as Scenario Writer

Kojima as Director

Ito as creature designer

Shingo Yuri, Norihito Hatakeda and Suguru Murakoshi(SH4 scenario writer) are still at KojiPro, right?

Lost it right there! Bravo!

MG and MG2 aren't canon? So it really starts with MGS1? Still close to picking up Legacy collection to tags the journey.

Its not going to be announced until like May, Konami has been doing a lot of late PC ports recently, but they tend to not even be announced until after the console versions come out.
i'm not so sure they'll split ground zeroes and the phantom pain for pc.

The return of young Solid Snake would be amazing.

There were rumours back at E3 2013 that Kojima was looking into remaking MGS1 using the Fox Engine.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE ALLOW THIS TO HAPPEN.

I'm already upset over the current voice acting situation, so I don't think my heart could take it if Kojima replaced Snakes voice in a remake of MGS1. :( I'd rather he left it alone.

Yeah, It doesn't have to be ALL of Team Silent. But a few key members, ESPECIALLY Owaku and Ito. And isn't Yamaoka sortof freelance working right now?
