I'm sad there's only one episode left. This weeks was pretty grounded compared to what the show can be. Also some pretty dark stuff with Hazama contemplating suicide. Then we got "what is love"... I wish I had the skills to make/ edit gifs. Someone needs to put Hazama, Goto, and maybe Red Axe's face or something on that gif.
Looking forward to the conclusion.

...Oh, we're going to have this kind of ending, are we? I look forward to lots of drama about bringing the two of them back, and who knows, maybe it will even prompt some relationship advancement from Kobeni's side. I also wonder if journo-girl's new scoop is going to play into this somehow, or if that thread will be left to be picked up in a second series which we had totally better get.

Nobody in any of the worlds plays fairly. The Blue World's decision to
is pretty low. Did make for a really exciting battle, both because Chitose was more involved in this one (so far, Rindo seems like a pretty okay Z/X. Maybe the Green World isn't super terrible), and Rigel and Azumi got in a nice bonding moment with some good application of strategy.

Virtually every piece of media in existence has some kind of profit-driven objective, but these meta-otaku LNs that feed on and exacerbate the social dysfunction of their buyers are awful.

I had a lot of Okami flashbacks this week, which is one natural since they were taking on the legend of the One-Inch Samurai and the second half legend I am not familiar with but it really not the best portrayal of women I have ever seen i nan anime.

I'm probably most interested in this series based off of staff alone and that trailer sealed the deal. Being a sequel to UC and featuring Tomino is pretty "meh" though. Yes, I know it isn't connected, but still.

Gundam - Reconguista in G is Tomino's new project. They didn't say exactly that it's a TV series, but it probably is. It'll start in Fall 2014. The character designer is Kenichi Yoshida, who worked on Gainer with Tomino, and later on Eureka 7. It's a sequel to Universal Century, set in the next calendar system - リギルド・センチュリー (Rigild Century?). Yuugo Kanno is composing the music.

Goto-san is probably not dead considering the shot faded away before we saw anything. If he had gotten shot they would have shown him falling back or blood. It's TV show 101. Also FUCK. MY PAIRING. Kaname I knew you'd do the right thing. That wasn't exactly a "yes" he gave to Sayu's confession, but that's to be expected. A proper "yes" wouldn't really be realistic at this stage when he's still trying to get over his feelings for Chisaki and hasn't really had time to change the way he looks at Sayu. But the sincere joy in his eyes when he realised how much Sayu cares for him makes me feel sure that with a little time, he will be able to move beyond that and the two of them will be able to find something real together. In other words, one of the Two Most Important Pairings is as good as confirmed =D
Meanwhile this episode also basically confirmed that the Chisaki and Tsumugu pairing
is going to win out in the end. Tsumugu has made it very clear that he wants it to happen, the chemistry between them is obvious, and now it's clear that Chisaki has feelings for him as well, she's just in denial about them because she's afraid of change. And I'd be very shocked if she doesn't get over that and accept her feelings in the end. So yeah. One of Miuna's rivals for Hikari down, one to go!
As for Miuna, she's frustrating me somewhat by
being too best girl and constantly trying to do what's best for Hikari even if it means screwing her own feelings over completely. Goddammit Hikari, stop being an oblivious moron and NOTICE ALREADY. *sigh* I still can't see how this whole Manaka-needs-to-regain-her-feelings plot could possibly end without her ending up with Hikari, but it would be an absolute crime for someone as best girl as Miuna to lose this one. =/

I am gonna have to hold off on my Toradora Series Review for a little while longer. Probably will post something tomorrow.
I've had time to sleep on that ending and while I am calmer than I was last night I am still not happy about it. But I am not going to hold it against the other fantastic 24 episodes of the show. I'll will discuss more about it more tomorrow/later tonight. Depends on how much Infamous SS sucks me in to not stop for about 10 minutes to write something up.
Plus a little more time will help me sort out some of the feelings I have for specific episodes and characters.
