Fans are really getting sick of vanilla good guys. I honestly think it's why Punk worked so well. He was a good guy that had an edge. Can't say that about a lot of faces any more.

The only reason the shield is weird as face is because it is weird seeing them helpless and losing before coming back on top.
If they are to be face, they should have a kind of Punisher gimmick. Being brutal and unfair torwards the bad people. Which is maybe what they are going for by making them target the heel tag team with revenge as a reason.
