Don't want to see this in 3D. Sick of watching movies that weren't filmed in the format, only to find that the action scenes are indecipherable and the image is too dark. Do, it looks like I'm going to Dublin to see it during the day.

They did a great post conversion of the Avengers movie and the tech is improving all the time.

That said, first captain america didn't release in EU before USA, guys. I think that was an exception or they started doing the early EU screenings after that movie.

Loved it. Don't ask me to choose between this one and the Avengers though, as I think both movies have their strengths. I'd say it's definitely the best "single superhero" movie since the first Iron Man movie.

That's the same as where I'm at - I keep juggling Iron Man, Avengers and the Winter Soldier around in my top 3.

I wonder if more folks will watch the movie here in Holland. I saw the original in the theater as well and I remember it wasn't that crowded because even the folks who were there for the flick expected some kind of "Murica Fuck Yeah!" movie with some Marvel flavour sprinkled on top. I went with a buddy of mine and he knew the movie had ties with the Avengers, but wasn't sure either. After the credits rolled everyone was quite positive. It was even funnier when people started to leave, but only four people stayed behind because we knew the end would feature the Avengers trailer. Suddenly, about half of the people stayed lol

Having watched the 10 min preview a few weeks ago the 3D stands up very well. And considering the bulk of the preview was set at night and it had 2-3 fight scenes that's impressive.

The problem is usually how cheapskate your local cinema is with the projection proper IMAX never scrimps. Odeon is absolutely shit for 3D films any 3D film I saw there it was always dark. Cineworld is the best of the multiplexes bright clean screens.
