Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. |OT| Tahiti is a Magical Place (to...Hey guys, I found it!)

His TV resume is Smallville/Heroes. He's getting the gig because he has connections/experience, but its not in making shows that have gone over well with the public critically (or in raw viewer numbers.)

I like how Smallville started (s1-3), everything in the middle was bad, and I'm ok with how they tried to salvage it in the end (s8-10). They should have wrapped it up in 7 istead of stalling and then having to beg for more seasons in the end to finish it off properly.

I liked how Heroes started (s1) right up until the end of the last episode of s1
everything in the middle sucked, mostly because they didn't even stick with their original plan of new season new heroes, I was ok with the final season.

Let's hope for better in AoS assuming this runs many seasons.
He's not off to a good start, but it's shaping up to be more of what we were hoping for going in now. Let's just hope that momentum keep rising (ignoring the excessive breaks to line up with movies).

Everyone in the real world knows who to credit for Heroes' success. No one in the corporate world seems to be able to do the same.

I have no problem with this casting. Something I found weird about this show is the complete lack of story about these character's personal lives when they're not on the job.

Agents of SHIELD declassifies Amy Acker

Looks good, never really seen any of her work though.

Vampire Diaries basically does 3 7-8 ep runs with mini-arcs over the course of the season (with the occasional skipped week.) A similar pattern would make sense here.

New villain on SHIELD cast and another interview out of Marvel for Agents of SHIELD:

Patrick Brennan (“The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2,” “The Black Donnellys”) will make his debut as Marcus Daniels, a.k.a. Blackout in the original Marvel comics, in the series’ upcoming eighteenth episode, “Providence,” before playing a larger role in the following episode.

First appearing in NOVA (1976) #19, “Providence” will mark Daniels’ live-action debut, but with his powers slightly different than in the comics: This version of Daniels will have the ability to suck the energy out of anything around him.

He'll be appearing in the same episode as Amy Acker.

I have never heard of Blackout.

Also, reading this interview, I'm fucking LOLing. That sounds so sappy:

]Marvel.com: When you had that conversation with the producers, what was their pitch to you?

Patrick Brennan:
This is the way they explained it to me: This guy, Marcus Daniels, a.k.a. Blackout, was shrouded in darkness, his soul, everything about him was shrouded in darkness until he comes across this Cello player. And the music was the only light that came into his soul, and it gave him hope and it gave him some sense of what light was. I thought to myself, oh my god, you don’t even need to explain anything else. Because music, to me, is what gets me through most of the time. My kids, my wife, and music. That aspect of it totally intrigued me. I thought that was quite beautiful and very interesting, that aspect of the character
.

But now we finally have a
love triangle for Coulson

Hahahahahahahahaha what? I think that quote must've been taken straight from tumblr.

After watching The Winter Soldier last night, i can't wait to see this week episode!!!!

Winter Soldier Spoilers:
After the movie I joked to my friends: Well that probably means that AoS will be cancled. I'm really looking forward to how the consequences from TWS will flow into the series. It should be a pretty big game changer. I just hope that Ward turns out to have be a hydra guy and gets taken out...;)

I still have a ton of hope for Agent Carter and the netflix shows.
Unless they listen to the internet and cast Terry Crews and Michael C Hall.

wait, Amy Acker is in Person of Interest? I need to watch that show then, love me some Amy (her Illyria is still one of my favorite characters in a show ever)

Why would they waste their time with a piece of crap which people already dislike, when they should be making Captain America 3 instead? Marvel TV is doomed. Let the ship sink. Focus on the movies!

No. AoS will be dry docked and repaired in the off season.
Cap 3 doesn't need to start filming till sometime next year. The Russo can help course correct and direct the last 2 (or 7) episodes of the season.

She's amazing in it btw
Yep. She needs to be a regular. Agents lf Shield is a sinking ship. I will be legit shook if it goes on after Avengers 2. They gotta be salvaging it at this point just to make it there. Then again ABC launched the least amount of "succesful" shows this season. New idea, instead of Just Simmons or Skye, interchange them with Amy Acker in Deathlok scenes so nobody laughs

I have yet to see Persons of Interest (I basically fell asleep around the 9th episode of the first season or so), but Amy Acker was one of the best things about Dollhouse. She was so, so good there. Epitaph One still gives me a bad case of the feels.

So we've had 3 episodes since its return in the UK. It's running without breaks for the remainder, think we're a couple of episodes behind. Is it really improving?

Most recent episode here was the train one, and what a horrible episode. So badly structured, it was like Source Code gone horribly wrong with all the jumping around. No reason for it apart from to try and make a boring plot more interesting. Really tiring of the fly somewhere to find the latest McGuffin of the week stories.

And no matter how hard they are trying I just don't give a toss about Skye.

Or the Clairvoyant. So we are to assume he's been behind absolutely everything, just because. Even though everyone he is involved with seem to be inept and get caught. Not a very good Big Bad really.

I dunno, I just don't see how this is going to get much better.

She is in the first season a small but effective amount, much larger role in S2 and main cast of S3.
POI is my favorite tv show of all time, so good.

I'm honestly shocked by the amount of praise it gets here. I only watched midways the first season and I thought it was one of the most boring things on TV. I dropped it because I couldn't help but fall asleep. Literally. I watch most of my shows right before going to bed and I couldn't stay awake.

My parents love it, though.

It took a while to get going, I think episode 8 was were I first I really saw potential in. It really took off around the mid season finale.
season 2 and 3 just destroy season 1 though, they are nearly completely serialized episodes.

Saying its my favorite tv show of all time might be crazy but some S2 episodes got it around my top 5, there was a single scene in S3 that kicked it to #1.

Because the Netflix shows are real and I want the Peggy Carter show to become real.

YOU ARE UNBELIEVABLE.

Seasons 2 and 3 make most television shows look like a fucking joke. It is literally one of the best shows on television. Literally.

Most people, myself included, seem to have thought the train episode was one of the series' best to date, so if you didn't like it, the rest of the season is probably not going to make you happy.

after reading that blackout spoiler , I am highly irritated and want to have people fired.
Jeph Loeb is untouchable. Funny how many fans fears came true in regards to him. Marvel animation is in shambles and their first live action show is bleeding viewers. Brah is 0/4 at Marvel television.

It really is one stupid quote.

It's like they are going all the way to make the show as trite as they can.

Where can I read this Spoiler?

Edit:
You mean the love triangle?

This one

I swear to God ABC/the writing room doesn't understand what kind of show they are working on. This mix of MCU drama and family friendly sappiness is a complete disaster.

I don't. That is hysterical. I sat here for a good five minutes laughing after reading Brennan's flowery description of the character.

Where can I read this Spoiler?

Edit:
You mean the love triangle?

Yeah, read the interview. Bunch of info there. Though it seems more of a
stalker situation
than a
love triangle.

It really is one stupid quote.

It's like they are going all the way to make the show as trite as they can.

I'm still laughing, every time I read it, I want to laugh and cry and laugh some more.

I find it so hysterical.

I can't wait for Tumblr to get a hold of it.
