Solo Charizard is a big Huzzah from me. He was always the one I'd choose to be with the Pokemon Trainer. And they picked the best Mega Evolution form.

Greninja is the best possible choice they could have made for a new Pokemon rep. Not even mad about the reality possibility of Mewtwo sitting things out again.

I dislike starter favoritism a lot; complaints about Charizard wanking seem to become more legitimate by the minute. I don't know whether to blame Megaevolutions or the 3DS's hardware for the Red/Pokemon Trainer casualty. That was one of the coolest concepts of Brawl.

I think it's worth noting that Captain Falcon has never been revealed before the games actually came out. (Well, Brawl did, but he was in spoilers)
I have a feeling the same thing will happen with this game. Falcon, Game and Watch, Jiggs, Ness etc will probably only be revealed right before 3DS launch.
Honestly, I think it'd be really neat to have them NOT show up on the site at all. The characters will all remain secret until people start unlocking them, not unlike what happened with Pokemon XY.

Honestly, having five or six Pokemon characters makes way more sense than having three Star Fox characters, given the popularity of the two series and possible character variety.
I really hope she comes back, my fav' pokemon in smash and among my top ten pokemon of all time.

They showed Samurai Goroh running around as an Assist Trophy. They're not going to keep him and axe Falcon. The good captain will return.
As for Greninja... SO COOL! I wonder if they'll incorporate his Protean ability somehow. In Pokémon XY, it allows Greninja to assume the typing of whatever move he uses, I.E. Grass Knot turns him into Grass-type, Shadow Sneak turns him into Ghost-type, etc.

The Rep limit is looking to be 5 this time around (That's what Mario and Zelda are sitting at currently), and Pokemon currently has 4, so chances are one of them ain't making it.
Honestly, I'm fine with five or seven six Pokemon. Brawl had four with one having a threeway transformation. Hell, Project M has freaking SEVEN, and that feels fine.
My biggest worry is that they won't add Jigglypuff due to this line of thinking. Pokemon is one of Nintendo's biggest franchises if not their biggest franchise at this point. It's remained consistently popular while Mario and Zelda (as much as I love them, 3D World, Skyward Sword, and ALBW were great) feel like their popularity is slowly waning. Pokemon has earned five or six slots.

The only person that haven't shown with a tether that's left is Link right? Olimar and Sheik both got their tethers removed.
