Just imagine Reggi came out and say for first time Xenoblade HD on Wii U only for US :P

And he announced The Wonderful 102 :O

Welcome aboard! We request that you do not use the lavatory until the train has left the station. Thank you.

lol I forgot to say: love your idea for the train, seems awfully appropriate and while it's gonna be a lil rough, that wont stop it from setting the rails on fire
(i hope)

I don't feel comfortable with the idea of Retro working on Metroid right now. I'm really bitter about the series after Other M, and I don't want Retro shackled to Sakamoto anymore, unless they can get the freedom to do stuff like make the power suit an actual suit again like in Prime 1 and not a magical girl transformation.

Whatever though. I'm not too excited for Nintendo's show, overall. I expect Zelda to disappoint me again. They'll probably be another Mario game to show. Blah blah.

X and Smash are the games I want to know more about. Not too thrilled about X's battle system. I didn't enjoy Xenoblade nearly as much as some of you guys did, but Sawano's music means I have to buy it. Hopefully the story won't be some lame Gods/Goddess sort of thing. Xenoblade's story got silly near its end.

Smash character reveals and the tournament are what I'm most looking forward too. :)

As i'm currently playing (and loving) Xenoblade for the first time, I have to say that X is my most anticipated announced E3 title so far.

The Zelda fanboy in me wants a new Zelda title, and i'm sure the reveal will be spine tingling, but Xenoblade has opened my eyes to an altogether different experience, so if both of these titles look amazing at E3, i'm sure i'll be a very happy man.

I'm sure someone's already done this at some point in this thread, but I didn't find anything (because I didn't look very hard), so here's what they showed in their last E3 presentation.

• Pokémon X and Pokémon Y
• Super Mario 3D World
• Mario Kart 8
• Wii Party U
• Montage of 3rd Party and eShop Releases
• The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD
• The Wonderful 101
• Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze
• Bayonetta 2
• X
• Super Smash Bros.

Four of the titles on that list still aren't out (three if you consider MK8 will be out before this year's E3 Direct) so let's hope this year's presentation is slightly more concrete than this. I'd love it if they had something—even if just an onslaught of VC games—to download at the end of the Direct.

My hopes are some big third party games (big in the sense of X and big in the sense of from a big publisher, i.e. EA) to help stop the bleeding there and two or three MAJOR franchise unveils (Metroid, Zelda, etc). If they come out with another re-hash of a 3DS title, I'll be worried.

Only possibility there is an exclusive Star Wars game, which - given their traditionally well performing nature on Nintendo consoles, isn't out of the question.

Btw, I see Human Head getting mentioned again. I know it's been talked about, but wasn't that particular thing about the Wii U port of Batman Arkham Origins?
That game supposedly wasn't really by Human Head, but by a studio called Nine Realms which is somehow related to Human Head. I believe the Human Head guys founded Nine Realms to protect themselves once it became apparent their deal with Bethesda wouldn't work out. It's really hard to find any information regarding Nine Realms though. I could only dig up a single related Linkedin profile by a programmer named Eric Blade who worked as a technology lead for Nine Realms back in 2012. He left for LG Electronics after just six months.

Wathever they do it's gonna be awesome since at least X, Zelda Musou, Zelda U, Bayo 2 and Smash will be there + wathever surprise for the 3DS/Wii U is a nice bonus.

Dear MCN your train doesn't seem to be top class but if it's the only way for the Nintendo Direct then so be it I shall take a seat.

Welcome aboard this NeoGAF Nintendo E3 Hype service, stopping at Zelda Central, Mario Terminal, F-Zero station, Metroid town and Nibel Parkway. Change at Nibel Parkway for the express Hype service to Los Angeles.

I'm double jumping onto this train.

Or perhaps I'll stay close enough to take a selfie and be within kicking distance of the conductor.

Yo man, let me in.

Thank you very much. The restaurant is now open in carriage C, serving hot and cold drinks and snacks including chicken & power-up mushroom pies, FireFlower extra-hot curry and Birdo's nest soup.

As the OP I want to make sure that the quality of the food is up on the high standards of HYPE TRAIN COPERATION® I'd like to order the FireFlower extra hot curry, please.

I'll take one of those... and also full access to the lavatory :D (fellow gaffers I apologise in advance).

Why do I have this gut feeling that Zelda U wont even be there this E3....

No trailer for it or anything.

I - wish - I am wrong however as that is the ONLY game I want to see atm.

The Mega64 video is one giant teaser. Zelda is definitely going to be there.

They've been saying for a year basically that it will be at this E3.
Unless something has gone seriously wrong in development, it will be there.

it's never to early for a good Hype Train, don't you think? Nintendo's E3 will be the best one in years..!

You could say it's the one we've been waiting for.

I think Yoshio Sakamoto had very little direct involvement in the Metroid Prime series. We know he was busy handling Metroid Fusion as director and writer when that project and Prime 1 were simultaneously in development. According to all three Metroid Prime games , Sakamoto only received a "Special Thanks" credit for his involvement in those games. Then he served as director forMetroid Zero Mission. As for Other M, he was credited as director, producer and writer. If anyone has been close to the Prime trilogy, then it would be producer Kensuke Tanabe. He was also heavily involved with Retro's Donkey Kong Country titles.

By the way, MCN, just wondering if you'd like to use this E3 banner that I made in your OP. If not then that's fine... just have no other use for it.

I actually think there's a big possibility Retro's working on Metroid now, but we just won't see it for a while.

As much as I'd love to take credit for the OP, I'm afraid I cannot. Dampflokfreund is your man.

Welcome aboard. Rest assured that while these trains may be a few years old, the ride is smooth and comfortable, with any bumps being absorbed by the excellent pneumatic suspension.

I gotta be in that train too, on the roof riding it like a Bosch.

I just uploaded a video of your conductor kicking me in the head that's gotten over 30 million hits on Youtube. What should I do with the money?
