Sony's E3 2014 - What are we all expecting?

PS4: Bend's new game, Guerilla's new game, Uncharted gameplay, Project Beast reveal, new The Order 1886 trailer w/ release date

Vita: Gravity Rush 2 and Freedom Wars trailers

Hopefully some Project Morpheus stuff too
 
I'm a little optimistic about Vita, i don't expect anything big but imo Vita will have a little more time and more games(even if just indies or already announced).

3 or 4 like previous years unless they spend 15 minutes with Wonderbook. If I had to guess it's going to be the usual suspects: co-marketing deals and games to be released in the next 12 months so The Order: 1886, AC: Unity, Destiny and God of War PS4. Maybe Far Cry 4: Dudebros Trip to Nepal as well.

E3 2014 Trailer. I put one together most years and it shows a bunch of Sony's upcoming games as well as stuff from MS and Nintendo. Hope you guys like it and it keeps you ticking over until june!

Sony for me is THE show to watch this year. Big things will be there I'm sure.

We don't even have a gameplay trailer of Uncharted 3, not even single footage and people expecting full blown gameplay on E3? lol

Gameplay of The Order and new trailer is for sure, I think we will finally get Uncharted 3 trailer and release date of Fall 2015.

UC 4 - Trailer + gameplay
#DriveClub - gameplay and features
GOW - next gen or SSM new IP
GT7 - trailer
Warhawk -PS4 (just say its coming at some point)
GG's new IP - trailer + gameplay
Some new unannounced PS4 AAA IPs for 2015-2016

Yeah I know I am asking too much :(
 
If I see The Last Guardian and Gravity Rush 2 at this conference, I'll walk away happy and content. Anything else is a bonus.

This! Also Vita Gaf don't hate me but I think Kat and that universe deserves wider exposure and would look stunning on the PS4. And I love my Vita don't get me wrong, I just love the game that much.

I like the prospect of playing Gravity Rush games on the PS4 (yes it would look dazzling), but it's important that the Vita retains the few console exclusives it has. It needs those unique titles tailor made for the system that you can't play anywhere else as a reason to exist. Deprive it of those, and it becomes even more irrelevant than it already is.
 
Honestly, I'm good with whatever as long as they drop the bass price on the Vita, as I am running out of reasons not to buy one at this point. Saving any incredibly boneheaded moves by Sony, they are actually pretty secure going into this E3.
 
I expect Sony to MAKE IT RAIN this year!!!



I expect Sony to win E3 this year. Despite excellent and notable showings from competitors, I expect Sony to walk out with the trophy, all cylinders firing in an A+++ showing.

I haven't seen anyone mention it, but perhaps they'll announce PS1/PS2 compatibility (or just emulation) for PS4 at the conference. I got most of the Crash/Spyro games from the PSN dollar sale just in case...

I wouldn't be surprised if they show a Planetside 2 trailer and say "and you can play the Beta free, starting tonight!"

Great trailer! I watched it all and my hype grew! Usually I am not a fan of fanmade things, but this was awesome. : )

60% Uncharted 4 Trailer with a Release Window
50% Release Window for Project Morpheus will be Late 2015
40% Rockstar related announcement (GTA V or Agent)
30% Santa Monica and Quantic Dreams New I.P. Revealed
20% The Last Guardian Re-Reveal on PS4
10% Exclusive Third Party Game for PS4 that is not Project Beast
0% Crash Bandicoot or Jak 4 or The Last of Us 2 tease

I'm hoping for story driven RPGs or just new IP RPGs in general. I also hope they don't use too much time on sequels.

What I expect will happen: the opposite of the above.
 
Don't know if anyone here follows Tidux on twitter but he's been posting some interesting things on there today.

He says that the Uncharted 3 minute demo is real, as is the order getting a stage demo and also a couple of other things mentioned in the E3 'leak'. He then got called out by Famous Mortimer for only tweeting about 'safe' bets.

He then said that Titanfall will be going multi platform and that a build is up and running. Then followed that with a "happy @atpetedodd".

Not sure what to make of it all really, but he was right about some of the 1.70 update etc.

Mortimer semi-confirmed Titanfall but questioned how it will be done legally.

You're going to be disappointed. Expect two new AAA IPs at best.
 
I'm not really expecting anything, probably some indie stuff,Drive Club, The Order and Uncharted 4 and some exclusive DLC deals with ACU.

This might actually be the most likely reason, as microsoft would be competent enough to have had language in the contract to prevent the first two. IF thats the case then damn, titanfall must have really underperformed/had overly aggressive expectations.
 
Give me a The Last Guardian trailer, a Final Fantasy XV trailer, and maybe one nice little surprise. That's all I ask for Sony, and then I will buy a PS4.

I remember some 360 ports that came out on the PS3 real early that had different titles; I always wondered if the names were changed for contractual reasons.

Ninja Gaiden Sigma, Full Auto 2, Ridge Racer 7..

I think plenty of people will care, if only because it will be a big "get" for sony, like if Gears of War came to Sony. That hype plus bundling in the dlc and additional content could make the game appealing to the large COD playing population on the PS4.
