Show us your gaming setup: 2014 Edition

Thank you all for the kind words. Didn't expect such a great feedback, really appreciate it!

I perceived it as a fun project to do, so didn't bother me. However wouldn't go through the 'stress' again, for while at least!

They just didn't fit in optimal in the living room and also I would have to invest in some surround speakers, and to be honest I don't watch enough tv to justify the investment.

Therefor I have one speaker in the living room (originally a center speaker) and the two speakers in the dining room creating a great music experience in the whole apartment.

I was introduced to doing 'handyman stuff' in my early years through my grandpa and father, and I've never been afraid to either ask or get my hands dirty. Always been and to this day still live by 'learning by doing'.

The roads are decent here, however nothing like the roads in Santa Monica where I was fortunate to buy the board on a vacation. That place is just made for cruising all day long!
Cannot remember the brand and I'm not home, so will have to get back to you.

I have some from the customization process:

Yes I have installed a smoke alarm nearby, but it has been running for 9 months now, so to be honest I'm not afraid of starting a fire anymore, or the possibility of short circuiting some hardware.

Really cool. I love it.

Here is my new game room that I just got setup. I still have some minor things to do but for the most part it's setup the way that I want it. I am going to get a ping pong table as soon as it's in stock after that it will be feature complete.

Here is the front view.

Gaming/Racing PC. I just bought a 21:9 monitor and wanted to try it out over the 3 monitor setup. Still deciding.

I'm new here but I hope you all like my humble setup! The second tower from my setup had to be moved to fix something in the wall behind it :/

*Just realized its showing some info on the embed after the pics... any tips on how to get rid of it?

Hi. This is my setup.

Functional and in the room: PS4, PS3, 3DS, Vita, 360, WiiU, Cintiq, iPad, AppleTV, Chromecast, 7.1 Surround Sound and my 3D Samsung (with nearly zero bezel). Faithless, why can't I see most of these? I don't believe you! Well, my philosophy is -- keep it hidden unless you're gaming. A living room is for living and accommodating guests.

A million thumbs up.

Can we get a rundown of some of the furniture? Where do you hide your surround?

Heh, I just had to post this.

My old setup from 2006. Eight years ago now, I suppose. Yikes.

Looks way better than what I had in 2006! Wish I had pics of it and the older setup I had when I was a teenager/early 20-something.

Flickr, right? Use the option to view all picture sizes, select the size you want, then right-click on the picture and choose the option to view it so you'll get the actual static image URL.

Some Awesome looking setups in here guys, Very nice! I like seeing all the different styles people have to offer: Minimalistic, modern, homey, college-age. I appreciate them all for their different feels.

I will post some pics later tonight/tomorrow. Mines prob more of a homey feel.

And Happidane, very impressive work on the apartment restoration, it looks great for such a small space, great use of space.

Less than 200.
Also the room is 10x10 and will have a black faux leather futon in it.

I bought this MALM IKEA desk, but in the birch veneer color.

Right now, I have my PC medium tower, 24" monitor, two speakers, and k/m on it with some leftover space for more stuff on the side, which allows me to put my 15.6" laptop whenever I need to. They have the same one with a pull-out panel, but without the drawer.

This measures at Width: 55 1/8", Depth: 25 5/8", Height: 28 3/4" (140 cm, 65 cm, 73 cm), so if it is too big, see a different one here.

Edit: I should mention that these links are for the US IKEA. I don't know if the other ones provide the same models.

The TV is an OLED from LG, and the speakers are Beolab 9.

Can't wait to play some games on this setup. So far I've only really played Towerfall and Infamous. Infamous looks simply incredible with the contrast and colors.

Holy mother of god, that is gorgous!

What's the model # on that TV?

Great setup. You seem wealthy; when are you going to hook up a gaming PC to that badass setup?

Not that wealthy. Note the crooked ass $30 ikea TV table.

I'm not itching to play any PC titles atm, but I will be needing a PC soon enough and then I'll definitely be dragging a long HDMI cable to connect the two.

Looking forward to Diablo RoS on PS4, the dark environments and colorful spells will look amazing

I'm in the US. I like that desk, but I think I'm going with a Z-line desk.

I couldn't get the pics of my main system to turn out properly, everything had a horrible glare on it. I really need some camera lessons. So I thought I'd post this video instead (which is equally bad quality)

Here are a couple pics that were of at least acceptable quality of my fireplace system and my mame / emulator cabinet. I also am in the process of finishing my basement and it has a 120 inch screen, but still no flooring or ceiling in place.

So... those curved TVs... perfect for the one guy sat at the centre of the circle, but what about the other people in the room?

That racing setup is nice but you gotta do something about the ghettocade.

My Playstation 3D display died this week had the extended warranty, and couldn't a find a small 3D TV so upgrade to 40 inch. Had to rearrange my room bit to get tv into my bedroom.

Gorgeous. Would love something like that.

Snide comment aside.

That projector is jaw dropping. I didn't know they were able to get an image like that so close to the surface.

I remember going to the arcade and seeing Dragon's Lair and thinking "whoa that's a game???". That's an awesome touch to the room
