Big budget. Sure indie and sport games are gameplay oriented, but they are not games that are meant to be system sellers for gamers that already have some other platforms.

And i'm not the one who needs something help me sleep at night. I play on PC, the platform that has tons gameplay oriented games.

But i gave examples in my previous post.
Dishonored, Path of Exile, Star Citizen, Shadow Warrior, Dark Messiah of Might and Magic, Dark Souls, Jedi Knight, Skyrim etc are all gameplay oriented.
Games that focus most of resources on gameplay, are gameplay oriented, its really simple - basically games with depth. Games that focus only part of development on gameplay to support narration and visual representation are not gameplay oriented.

Games with depth - goes on to list Skyrim, Dark Messiah and Dishonored. Okay...... Anyways Killer Instinct is not big budget. Neither is some of the other games you listed. Again whatever floats your boat. I will stop here and this thread can get back to Project Beast.

Me neither. I mean it's great news and it looks promising, but people act like there was never gonna be a Souls game for next-gen. I'm sure we'll have plenty of Souls games with changing quality at the end of this generation.

It will be interesting to see if the Dark Souls series will continue and if or how Project Beast will affect it (release schedule e.t.c.), it's gonna be weird having two so similar games/series from the same developer on the market but I guess we'll have to wait and see how much Project Beast will differentiate itself from the previous Souls games.

When he's walking up to the boss looking thing and his army lashes out? The weapon he's holding looks folded up with the blade doubling back over the handle, he lashes out and it flips open to it's full length.

Yeah, the other possibility is that it's a new IP and as a result of that, doesn't have a formal name. Thus even if the leaker wanted to give a name to it, "Project Beast" might be it. Worth noting that Atlus owns the rights to the Demon's Souls name.
