no. you're using personal opinion to "prove" a completely unsubstantiated "fact". the facts are that Dark Souls II is the sequel to Dark Souls. there's no "true" or "false" about it. the game is intended, both in name and content, to be a sequel. you cannot dispute these things, they are fact.
what you
can dispute, is whether or not the game is enjoyable, or lives up to the impossible expectations of an overly rabid fanbase. those are not facts. those are sentiments driven by opinions and personal anecdotes.
and we knew why Dark Souls II was going to be different long before it's release.
Miyazaki said it himself almost 18 months ago.
for the record I think Dark Souls II combines the best of Dark Souls, with some of the missing aspects of Demon's Souls, rather well. there's nothing in it that feels "less than" or "B-team" to me. i think it's a great game and I look forward to more from them AND Miyazaki's team in the future.
