It will probably go through apple certification for the most part. Apple has pretty strict standards.

Gotta see what Google does with i/o - but they really have their work cut out for them, they need to go HARD to match these features improvements. Even if a lot of these features are already in Android, there is enough unique new stuff that I think makes resting on their laurels a bad idea for Google and Android.
