Shhh, just let him have his little victory. What? This is multiplatform.
lol
Next-gen consoles in 2013
Next-gen software in 2015
Just like last gen.
Yes, I suppose. At this moment, I am too deflated with yet another broken promise to even play my PS4.
I didn't say I wasn't going to play watch dogs ever again, I just don't feel like playing at this moment. WD is actually pretty great.
Lies! we had Gears of War etc fairly early on.
Shhh, just let him have his little victory.
Really shows how ready devs/pubs were for the new consoles.
A release date is not a promise.
You're obviously taking this stuff way too seriously. Relax and enjoy the games you have.
Wanting vs. expecting...Probably because we just game off of a 8 year console generation and they're sick of last gen games even if they're up ported.
why do people do this? maybe look up some more videos and see if you REALLY want to buy the game?
wasnt gears about a year after the 360 launched?
Not even close.Just like last gen.

Far Cry 4You want games this year?
NO GAMES FOR YOU
Maybe it's just my PC gamer frustration talking, cause we sat on very powerful HW for some years now, but i really want to move on, and stop catering to 512mb RAM and whatnot.
Sure they run better, but when you build a game from the ground-up, knowing you'll have to retrofit it to 8 years old machines, it will influence your design.
So yeah, it matters to me, how many titles are cross platform and how long this practice keeps going.
Thankfully the attach rate of current gen consoles (minus WiiU, but it doesn't really factor in my argument in the first place) seems pretty good, so hopefully we can move on.
People that are not console warriors.Well then, it looks like the wiiU might have the best releases of 2014 after all. Who would have guessed that?
That there is a lot less coming out a year after One/PS4 released then there was a year after the 360/PS3 launched. It's pretty obvious what he was saying. We're a year after PS4/XB1 in fall released your point?

Not to mention the 1-2 year period where nothing really came out besides the usual annual franchises. It's disappointing given how developers and publishers were screaming for new hardware. Apparently, Ubisoft were the only ones actually ready for the transition.
I was gonna say that you're wrong, but I had a look and the first third party game I have on PS3 is DMC4, released early 2008.
How is it a waste of money? It's not like you won't need to buy a PS4 next year to play these games and they aren't dropping the price any time soon. Only difference is my PS4 sits in my room and gets moderate use vs sitting in a warehouse not getting any use .2015 is fine by me. I guess the people that wasted their money on a PS4/XB are boned, though. I wonder how much stuff actually slated for 2015 will slip into 2016, and which titles delayed for "early 2015" will have to be inevitably delayed until later in the year to avoid a crowd.

But next-gen games in general, 2007 had a lot of them.
So the only game to look forward this year is destiny

I would say its more people who only care about Wii U exclusives and not major third party titles.People that are not console warriors.
It'll sell two million first week whenever it ships. All will be well from a financial standpoint.
Hopefully locked frame rates and all that good stuff happens, between now and then.
That's not going to get better. There will be fewer AAA retail releases every year compared to last gen. The market has changed.
Everything is 2015 now
