Try clicking the "refresh" button under the "My Games" tab in Origin, worked for me.

The demo did look a lot more impressive than I initially thought the concept was, though. The way it focuses the gameplay is quite cool.

I may have found a fix for people who got in, either that or I just got lucky.

Once I went into Battlefield Hardline from Battlelog, I tried to join a game a few times and got the option to download or patch the game. Do that and Hardline will show up in your library, it may take a few tries to get it. I also had someone test it and it seemed to work.

Origin seems to have also shit bricks as all my hidden games have reappeared in my list, and just trying to add the free PvZ causes everything to break, so probably more down to that than not getting in I'd imagine.

I'm just getting a 500 error on the sign-in popup box now

I signed up for the PC beta. I had to try like six times before it stopped redirecting me back to the Beta signup page. I agreed to the NDA, clicked the "Play it Now" link. Tells me to check origin. Check Origin, not in my games list. Check Origin Order history:

So I have two copies, and I can access neither apparently. Thanks, EA.
