I had to watch the MS conference at work (which meant no GAF posting -- same deal for my beloved Ninty conference tomorrow ) but I am HOME and DRUNK for Uncle Sony.

As someone who is a lifelong Nintendo fan, and a Microsoft fan for only three or four years of the 360s life (but not anymore) AND having never owned a Sony sytem BUT will buy a PS4 this winter (already got my Wii U... whatcha'll other fools doin' with your life), this E3 is Sony's year to lose for me. Coming from a marketing background, I fiercely respect and admire their attitude the past couple of years. Since I know all of the marketing and PR tricks (which they are absolutely using), the only way to win me over is to play the game well. Which Sony has been doing.

But Lo! Phil Spencer is righting the Microsoft ship towards the serene shore of goodwill too... I actually said "Xbox One" in conversation today instead of "Xbone" for the first time since the system came out. That is how bloody impressive Spencey has been doing in his first stretch as MaSter chief

Yeah, only reason I was excited by the FFXV announcement last year is because it seemed like SE was finally getting that project back on track and it would out in a reasonable timeframe.

I thought that the Microsoft conference was okay, but nothing special.

ntkrnl seriously gave it all away pretty much. Literally not a single surprise for me. I was really happy in seeing Crackdown at least, but we all knew it was coming. It was average at best. At least it was all games.

I hope Sony has some surprises or it will all be up to Nintendo tomorrow. (Microsoft didn't announce GTA V, so I'm hoping Sony does).
