Impressive visuals. I'm curious as to how the story will turn out now that Amy Hennig isn't there anymore.

It will be much better now that she's gone.

I never found her involvement worthwhile.

Perhaps this time there will be some compelling and intimate
character development for Drake, as opposed to his boot-legged
Indiana Jones shtick in the other games.

Dat generational leap. Much excite.

Great (and informative) thread btw.

I gotta admit that I like that new, darker style. (Even though it's probably not final.) He looks... real.

I really hope I can play UC2 and 3 sometime...maybe a PS4 collection or something. I played UC1, but never got to the other 2. Now my PS3 is broken and I really don't want to buy another for just 2 games.

Halloween DLC for Uncharted 4 have Nathan Drake timetravel to a place where he meets up with Joel from The Last Of Us, together they embark on an amazing adventure.

I'd play it.

The fungus apocalypse was actually caused by Drake opening a long-sealed tomb releasing the dormant spores.

Drake looks significantly older and a bit chubbier which I like. You know combined with the tone of the trailer, the title, and Drake's new appearance; I can see this being Naughty Dog's last Uncharted.

I really can't wait to play this game.

Just watched the trailer. Wow. And no YouTube bullsh*t either. That's why I love Naughty Dog; that commitment to quality just shines through. My internet connection is choking just playing the trailer.

Now that would be incredible lol.

Drake's selfish pursuit of adventure-high dooms not only his closest friends but all of humanity.

And with that Druckmann has his revenge on the "ludonarrative dissonance" dorks.

If this will be the last Uncharted I will have a hard time saying goodbye and'll hope the game never ends. ;(

The bright side is that the Naughty Dog will shit out another amazing IP. No doubt.

He definitely looks older, but I actually think he looks a bit leaner than he did in 3

Looking fantastic, and if the game looks anywhere close to that we're in for a treat.

Also whilst Nate is looking more realistic, you can easily tell it's the same character.

So hyped for this. Hype went from 10 to 100 with this trailer.

But please please dont touch Sully. Sully is the most beawesome supporting character in any game.

My theatre went nuts at the ND logo and when the first shot of Nate was shown, people started yelling "No way", "Impossible", "my lawd".

Uncharted is a different tone from TLOU, so I don't want them in the same universe as it would make Uncharted a total downer.

If the trailer graphics are in-game/game engine...wow.

interview with straley & druckmann about what they did/learned with uc2 & tlou and how it´s going to influence uc4:

I've been excited about UC4 since the turmoil at ND, and extremely excited since Druckley was confirmed, but I always had this concern that it wouldn't really be their game, because they're coming in so late. But just thinking about it, Left Behind went gold in January, if this is next November, they'll have had between twenty and twenty two months at the helm.

Obviously there's the technology and assets that can still be used, but it's actually quite possible they could have rebooted the entire game and still make launch.

I think the idea that the entire game was scrapped/rebooted is very unlikely - no way ND would have let Amy/Justin work on it for that long or go that far in the wrong direction without stepping in sooner. I would guess they will redo/change some parts but much of the core game will remain intact.
