Is this even being released on GOG? It's still not listed on their site.
People talking about it being on GOG on the Larian forums seem pretty sure but I don't have a quote for you.

Larian is amazing at UI these days, I already noticed that with Dragon Commander.GAF, I played the demo some more. People dismissing this as eurojank or whatever are 100% wrong.
I've been waiting for a game like this for a decade. If the final game is as polished throughout and the combat system holds up, this might become one of my all time favorites. I love the chunky UI.

Wow, I just lost all my respect for the unnamed mods. I'm serious. I thought they were cool.
Sounds reasonable!
So I'm not sure what Zeliard is talking about, but I do intend to get this game.
Zeliard was trashing Planescape: Torment a ton earlier though.
Whew.So I'm not sure what Zeliard is talking about, but I do intend to get this game.
I knew it. His insightful posts about RPGs are just a clever ruse. He's probably playing Dragon Age 2 right now. On his 5th time through.Zeliard was trashing Planescape: Torment a ton earlier though.
Maybe he's like this dude (from a great upcoming not-trashy-at-all redblooded American AAA RPG):Nirolak defended charlequin calling the game eurojank. Pretty sure anyone would agree that's enough to crucify him.

Yes.So this is an actual solid, party based wrpg with tactical combat?
Yes. (Well, you create 2 characters)Do you create your character and recruit npcs?
Yes.Full inventory management and interesting progression system?
Congratulations!Fuuuuuck man. This game looks amazing. Here I was all ready for Wasteland and Pillars, and all the while this beauty was being made. And all I have to do is wait 20 days haha.
Bought when I get home from work.
Congratulations!
Now you just need to tell 5 other people about it. Because really, this game's largest issue is awareness.

As far as I know, yes.Oh, I got reminded this game exists now. I bought Dragon Commander but haven't gotten around to playing it. It should be time now that I upgraded to a desktop.
Will the price for the game be the same on release as it is now during early access?
Any class suggestions? Preferably classes that don't overlap with npcs.
As far as I know, yes.
Is someone going to sneak this onto a PC somewhere at E3 so I can vote it Best of Show?
I wish! But yeah, as Santiako is saying, Larian probably have more important stuff to do right now.Is someone going to sneak this onto a PC somewhere at E3 so I can vote it Best of Show?
Oh most definitely.Larian is probably way too busy finishing the game to go to e3.
There is (and has been for quite a while) an early access release. However, saves will not be compatible with the final version.I've been out of the loop for a while on this game.
Is there now a demo out? And if so, will progress in the demo carry over to the full release?
I'm very concerned.I really hope that releasing the game the day the summer sales end doesn't screw them too much.

Well, it also IS an Early Access game. It's possible that like Assetto Corsa they put that on sale and so you get a good number of sales even though it isn't even out until the sale ends.
Now something not in Early Access like, say, Trails in the Sky releasing that day, I'd be REALLY worried. Though either way this raises questions on if this is a factor in the delay.
They could always do what Metal Gear Revengeance did, it had it's big unveiling on steam in the middle of a sale and had a sale price, people bought it in droves.
Yes. Yes. Yes.So is this good ?
As a fan of BG/IWD etc would I like it ? Is it polished ?
They could sell it for more than the KS price but less than the retail price. There's a bit of room there. That would badly screw over Kickstarter backers, wouldn't it? Something MGR:R didn't have.

Well on Kickstarter you could get a copy of the game for $25, they'll be selling it for $40, so they could do a $30 sale or even down to the same $25 they gave kickstarter backers without screwing anyone.
Assuming you're buying two copies, is there any reason to get this ahead of time if you're not planning on touching it until release day?
There has never been nor will there every be a reason I personally find acceptable to pre-order a video game.
Yeah, I backed at $25, so doing for a $30 sale may be a solid compromise. You were activley paying to play a game early for Steam Early Access, and those who did via Kickstarter were acting in good faith. They could sell it for more than the KS price but less than the retail price.
