Hey gotta go record an episode of Archer and then an episode of my podcast. Will reply more tonight. In the meantime, it looks like this thread is about to be long enough to stretch the length of Oprah's lawn, so I will admit to tasting a little penny-twinge of regret.

Regardless, will return later to respond to more questions.

Remember that I am not a game dev or coder and I don't, as a rule, sit in on Ubisoft all-hands meetings so don't be asking me shit you already know I can't answer.

Oh, and for the record, I play Xbox 360/One and PS3/4 games. No Wii. No Wii U. No handhelds. I'm sure there's other shit. I don't play them. I used to be a PC gamer but that was a lifetime ago (like Myst/Riven ago).

I am a console gamer almost exclusively, but occasionally indulge in iPad games. Latest are TWD Season 2, Monument Valley, and PvZ which I am currently furious at and so have stopped playing, mainly because PopCap has devoured my retirement fund.

My husband plays Minecraft. I don't understand it, but I support him fully. Because that is the kind of spouse that I am.

Hey guys. I am at e3 and from now until Friday morning I will answer any questions you have about the Ubisoft presser, Ubi games, the floor, French toast or your mom. I am super busy so I will get on here as much as I can and tell you what I've seen.

NOTICE: I am NOT a Ubisoft spokesperson and I DO NOT SPEAK FOR THEM. I am not a games journalist and I will not have seen everything. I am a gamer, but I also have fourteen jobs so I will not have played everything because I have shit to do. I am only really interested in shooters and combat-oriented RPGs so do not ask me about Mario Kart or other tiny, cute things with bunnies and jumping and stuff.

HOWEVER. By EOD Thursday I will have played a bunch of games, including games that aren't really playable yet. I will also have walked the floor, videobombed a lot of vloggers, given Greg Miller at IGN the double finger and taken a lot of photos with sweaty con-goers. Ask your questions and I'll try to answer.

Be aware that if you are a dick I will respond in kind.

And I am a dick for a living, so I will crush you.

Hahah is this real ? Awesome

Honest question: What's your opinion on smoke&mirror reveals and downgrades ?

Do you think this is due "lack of talent" or because of the fact that these people don't put enough effort in improving their public speaking skills because they are either too "lazy" or too busy with coding/design etc.?

It has always bothered me how bad many of these developers at E3 were as public speakers, that's why I like seeing you at E3.

Have you ever met a developer? It doesn't even matter what kind of software they write. Shit...most developers are never allowed to talk to clients because they are just nerd boys.

Look, most of these guys are not public speakers. They are coders or designers or corp execs or mid-spectrum reclusives. So this is not generally their thing and they are trying to muddle through and satisfy their bosses and the stockholders and their moms as best they can.

although i love watching ceo's making good use of their training giving speeches on stages.

two steps to the right, two steps to the left.
hand gesture highlighting bold statement, two steps to the right..

Aisha,

Your standup is hilarious. I understand that you are an extremely busy lady, but do you happen to have any plans for another standup special at some point in the near future?

You have underestimated how badly we want to yell at famous people.

Probably what's more surprising to me than this thread is that you have time to actually attend E3. Seriously, this is some Jessie Spano shit.

Are there any more small titles like Child of Light in the pipeline for Ubi? Ones using the Ubiart engine specifically?

I foresee a lot of preorders being cancelled over this.

So yeah I'll admit when I read the title then looked to the side & seen the name I had one of them screaming girl moments for a second & as ran into the thread saying "oh shit it's Aisha Tyler"

I kinda fell in love with her when I was a teen when I was flipping through the channels & seen her on Talk Soup & started watching it every night even though I didn't really care about what she was talking about lol.

1) I'll pretend I didn't read you have a husband.
2) When are we getting married?

Have you heard about the word of our lord and savior PC Gaming who received bad ports for our sins? I have a brochure if you are interested.
