This is not Reddit. Yet and still, Ask Me Anything

Look, most of these guys are not public speakers. They are coders or designers or corp execs or mid-spectrum reclusives. So this is not generally their thing and they are trying to muddle through and satisfy their bosses and the stockholders and their moms as best they can.

I get on stage and live tv every day for a living. That doesn't mean I'm perfect at it (as the internet tells me every living minute of every fucking day) but I do love the games and I am genuinely excited to be there. So hopefully that comes across.

I think the other thing is just to lean out and focus on the games. We're all there to get stoked about what's coming. That should always be the focus. I won't knock trailers because I get as excited about them as the next person but actual gameplay, live or footage, is always the best (even if it's curated and managed to within an inch of it's zeroes and ones).

Do you think this is due "lack of talent" or because of the fact that these people don't put enough effort in improving their public speaking skills because they are either too "lazy" or too busy with coding/design etc.?

It has always bothered me how bad many of these developers at E3 were as public speakers, that's why I like seeing you at E3.

What non-Ubisoft game have you've played on the show floor so far that has impressed you the most or was your favorite? Are you more looking forward to the Witcher 3 or Dragon Age: Inquisition? Be honest, Ubisoft bought THQ Montreal just to piss off Patrice Désilets right?

are we sure this is really aisha tyler? the last person running around here with that name ended up being a fraud iirc

maybe the original post should be edited

Hello Aisha! Can you find out for me if Mortal Kombat X will include the 2 v 2 tag mode from MK9? Thanks and great job at the Ubisoft conference!

Do you like FFXIII? Well obviously you do, I'm sure you have taste. Who is your favorite character from FFXIII? Do you think FFVII is the best FF game ever?

No question. I just wanted to say you did a great job hosting this year. When they ask you back next year, be sure to bring the same enthusiasm you had on Monday.

HAHA Here's the problem. On Reddit, I can type ONE MEELION WORDS A MINUTE and it doesn't shut me down. Here, I have to wait ONE MEELION HOURS between posts.

NeoGaf's UI has coded-in cockblockage.

This is why I will not be able to answer everyone's questions.

Sigh.

Click on multi-quote. To the left of "quote".

It also is nice that we actually know you play games, so you do come across genuine when we see you getting excited for games (R6). In the past, when conferences bring out other celebs for hyping up games or whatnot, I'm mostly hoping a giant cane comes across to pull them back off the stage

For us, the day Aisha Tyler graced our forum was the most important day of our lives. But for her, it was Wednesday.

*Faints*

I leave Gaf for a few hours and this happens?

Good show yesterday at Ubi Aisha. Also, I gotta say it was a funny surprise coming across you in one of those video thingys in Watch_Dogs.

I don't really have a question but more of a request: Give Jessica Walter an ultimate fan high-five for me next time you see her.

You into driving games? The Crew looks pretty good to me. I like the idea of an open world online racer, and the scale of it sounds impressive.

Have you ever been mistaken for Clive Anderson
If people don't know Clive Anderson and his career they are going to be really, really confused!

Aisha, do you find yourself buying the latest consoles, games, etc. or do you prefer to wait for reviews/a general consensus? Or it money no option and that was a pointless question?
EDIT: Also how must free stuff does Ubisoft give you, or is it a 'grab as much as you can' type of deal?

i fucking loved you in the fifth wheel

i just remember those late nights when i couldnt sleep i'd flip through the channels and find this absurd dating show on the most random hours of the night LOL.

You are awesome, and surprised the living crap out of my wife when she saw it was you presenting and dropping da f bombs. But do you think your very direct style is the right format for a conference like this? In hindsight would you change anything that you did while presenting?

Again much love to you, you are awesome!

My wife and I love your work! You are the main reason I watch the Ubisoft press event. Have you played the AC series all the way through? If so, how did you feel about AC3 and it's ending? Personally I was a bit let down that the story of Desmond ended there. I felt like there was so much promise in AC2 and Brotherhood. Do you do the side stuff or stick to main story?

Hi, you did great on Monday! Loved the conference

So, I want to confess something.

I thought you were great at last year's conference. So having just gotten a Twitter account due to #Ps4NoDRM I decided to tweet you to ask if you would marry me. I thought I was really witty and original.

But an hour later I realized what I had done. Like so many other gamers, the moment I saw a woman related to games I started objectifying you. And that's not cool, even if I meant it as a joke, and did it out of appreciation for your great work and not out of appreciation of your looks. After reading this thread I realize you must get that all the time. And while you may like it (or feel indifferent about it) you could also very well really hate it. I stopped tweeting after that.

So I just want to say, I'm sorry for that. I'm sorry for all of us. And again, thanks for a great conference.

Thanks for doing this! This is really great.

Question: Do you feel like you're getting a real chance to check out games while you're at E3, or are you too busy being swamped by fans and Ubi duties to check out games you're interested in? Flexing any of that star power to sneak ahead of the lines or get private demos? (I certainly would.)
