There we go.

At most you can say a Rhythm Tengoku rep is very likely.
Yeah, although the Gat rumor has been on point so far. So I am inclined to believe it. Even if it is not the Chorus Boys, I will be happy whoever they choose.

Edit: I am curious they will not be able to play Project M? Sure the online does not work anymore, but nothing about the base game should change.

Yep, I am going to main him because I love the character and people hate him. It is a win-win combo.

Yep, Chorus Boys confirmed. Now we just need some vague proof of Chrom and Falco, and I am set!
When was this.

I was against what Pac-man has become but now that Sakurai shown is that it's all his pay incarnation and not hood Ghostly Adventures it's so awesome.

Someone link this Rhythm Heaven Smash Run enemy :o

Also is the cucco in the E3 build? Do we know if it's an item or assist trophy yet?

Yeah, it's an item. I saw it during the Invitational. Once your throw it, coccoos come flying frantically and hurt any player in the area.

Yeah it's in. I think it's an item that, when thrown at the opponent, causes a flurry of cuccos' to fly at the opponent in all directions for some duration.

Had to wait 2 hours to demo the game at my local Best Buy. Line was from the back of the store to the entrance and they had to turn down people after two hours.

Awesome job Nintendo and Best Buy but I think they both severely underestimated the hype for this game. They should've had at least 4 Wii U's and even more 3DSes available. People I talked to drove hours to get to the store. Crazy!

I took my daughters to the store in Berlin/Marlboro, MA around 7pm and according to the store rep, there was about a two hour wait for the Wii U version. At some point, the system locked up and the Nintendo rep had to fuss with it for 5-10 minutes to get it working again.

There were 2 3DS and no one really waiting to play them so my daughter was able to play for 5 or so minutes. I just watched/observed the game/people since I'm not really a big fan of fighting games. It was my first time at one of these type of events so I was surprised to see so many people that fit the stereotypical gamer image. I had my 3DS with me and from the streetpasses, everyone was from MA with a couple from Canada.

Majority seemed to be in their early to mid twenties. Lots of people skipping work, and not many kids skipping school, it seemed. 3DSes everywhere.

I think I had the same type of crowd. There were no little kids at all. Anyway, I took a few photos of the crowd at the store.

The front of the line.

Ah awesome. Can't wait to do cucco only matches then!

Cool thanks.

Taking that to mean the leak was legit then. Shulk, Chrom and Chorus Men are all hype as fuck characters for me haha, they all come from some of my favourite Nintendo games.

Hey guys. Something happened Tuesday night and everyone using Verizon in my neighborhood lost their internet connection.

This happened a few minutes after the roundtable was supposed to begin.

That said, I'm caught up on everything but gameplay videos.

Ahah, people are still going to dispute the salromano leak, even when Shulk and Chrom are going to be announced.

The funny thing is I was skeptical at first. However, with this E3 and Sakurai saying they planned out all the characters from the start of development ... well I believe it at this point.

The funny thing is after watching Smash videos, I like the fact that Bowser stands on two legs. It is odd I know, but I think it is a good change. I will probably play Bowser more now.

We mainly play over dolphin netplay now with gamecube adapters.
Unless you're lucky enough to live in america and have a local scene.

None of that will change when smash 4 releases.

There's very little in terms of a smash scene in the UK so I'm really hoping 4 is good competitively so I can try and get some sort of scene going, if it's bad then all my hopes for the smash scene in my area are destroyed because I imagine it would be very hard to find P:M players.

So do any casual Smash players actually benefit from taking out the competitive/hidden features of the past Smash games? I remember feeling crappy after getting owned by some advanced players back in the day, but it didn't seem like a huge problem.

What? When was this confirmed?

No they're saying whenever Shulk and Chrom are officially revealed making his list 10/11 there will still be some hold outs who go "nah second leak isn't real/he just got lucky/bu bu bu he said Goddess Palutena/bububu he didn't say Greninja"

Same thing happened with MVC3 and Brawl, even when everyone but Hsien-Ko/Sentinel were revealed in MVC3 and everyone but Wolf was unlocked in Brawl people were still poo pooing the leak

They don't benefit from them being removed at all, a lower skill ceiling makes the game less fun for anyone willing to explore the depth in a game, whether that's casually or competitively, it's what will keep people playing the game for years.

People asking to have features that give the game more depth and strategy removed are just as idiotic as the people that flame sakurai for making the game too casual instead of being constructive.

It makes the game worse for your casual player that might be interested in watching the game at a competitive level and not necessarily playing it as well, because it makes it a much worse spectator sport.
