Here's a picture of their post-E3 dinner with the Treehouse and Mr. Miyamoto.

Someone made this recently. Should come in handy for anyone wanting to follow some of these awesome women.

[pic removed due to complaints..]

So cool Miyamoto got to hang out with all those cool people...

But that is great

I noted on Twitter.
And could be wrong, but I think Nintendo had more females on their stream than the rest of e3 combined.

But again could be wrong.

I know sony had at least one for LittleBigPlanet, EA had one for The Sims, Ubisoft of course had Aisha Taylor

Yeah, I recall seeing that, but seeing an image like this that is gathering information on women just seems a little... ech.

I think it's cool, since there's so much being said about the industry and the lack of females and Nintendo nonchalantly had them like it was no biggie.

Well people keep asking for twitter info for Audrey, Alison, Sam and more quite a bit, so don't really consider it creepy. Esp compared to some of the comments from this own thread that is WAY more creepy. lol

True. I guess I wouldn't be as weirded out if it were a general image with all Treehouse twitter accounts.

Just don't want any thirsty-folk scaring off the Treehouse. :(

I think it is the posts made by some in this thread that make that image cause that kind of reaction.

There is no reason it shouldn't be a pic containing all of the Treehouse members, regardless of sex. Not saying they aren't great people, I imagine people would want everyone's twitter handles.

Anyways, this feels like creating a mountain out of a mole hill.

Agreed, definitely did not intend to derail or anything. Can we get a general Treehouse twitter-account image going?

Big ups to Nintendo for being one of the more progressive companies in terms of gender representation. This industry needs more women.

i really hope this got enough hits and attention to warrant a new treehouse live next e3

or even better. a treehouse live event everytime a new big nintendo game comes out.

I really loved the diversity of their hosts. It didn't feel forced in any way, and everyone was passionate and knowledgeable. Way better than getting actors.

This may help some of you, Axis put together a list of known Nintendo employees on Twitter

https://twitter.com/Axis1500/nintendo-staff/members
I knew Bill Trinen and JC Rodrigo did because I've been following them for a while, but it's cool so many Nintendo employees follow the Seattle Sounders.

Also, Dan Adelman. The forgotten man. Was that rumour about him being banned from using Twitter by Nintendo really true. Can't imagine so given the volume of employees on there and how great a connection Dan served to indies and fans, but he hasn't tweeted for eight months. I credit him a lot for revolutionising Nintendo's digital outlook and would love to hear more from him. Seems like a cool guy.

Nevermind. Found it a few pages back

I was REALLY worried when I saw this. I was concerned that the entire Treehouse stream was just going to end up being cringe.gif for 23 hours. I mean, I was laughing, but I was like, "NOT A GOOD START, GUYS"

This gif is hilarious though. I felt so bad. Why do they still have the camera on him?

My exact thoughts. I saw that and thought we were in for a torrid three days of awkward production fails and robotic scripted presenting. Instead it suddenly flourished into the most wonderful viewing experience.

The two people in the gif never showed up on stage to host a demo, though, did they? I've seen them in YT stuff before, though, and found them kind of awkward and stilted.

It's kind of funny since they are the typical Nintendo host

But they seem... so much more reserved even in the Nintendo Minute stuff

It's in the very first segment of the first Treehouse I believe. I got a little worried that shit was going all wrong for a second lol

Thanks. I was thinking it was the Amiibo from day 2, which is turning out equally entertaining. The guy in the middle in blue is staring at the guy in green with such lust.

"We played a lot a smash."
"Yeah we played a lot of smash" *Stares and smirks intensely*

XD I'm so glad I got to endure this live. I felt so bad for him... you could see it in his shifty eyes and uncontrollable adam's apple movement that he was uncomfortable. But just like witnessing a car crash, or a house on fire, you can't look away.

Actually, he always looks like that in the youtube videos. He is not good on camera :D

So is there anywhere on YouTube that this is archived in full? I'm stuck on mobile, so I can't see any Twitch archives and I'd rather nor view the piecemeal videos I've found.

Man, I'm watching the bits I've missed and I'm really enjoying it. Some of these bits, Mario Maker in particular, are really like just a bunch of guys shooting the shit and playing games on the couch or something. Other bits are more interview-focused but still good...

so somehow i believe devils third really profited from treehouse

at the reveal I was genuinely surprised but the trailers and the stuff they showed really was looking bad.

with the treehouse demonstration somehow they managed to show the game in a proper way and now I believe all the game needs is a year or so in the cooker but it has a very proper solid gamplay idea...

what game demonstration in treehouse live changed your perception of the game?

We definitely need to see more of Treehouse. It would be cruel to restrict them to E3 only! Perhaps give them a regular section in Nintendo Directs. Like, Iwata/Shibata/Reggie talks a little bit about a game, then hands over to Treehouse for a demonstration and more information.
