Have you done the first mission the game drops you into and (not sure that's even necessary), did you hit level 6 and did you do the little introduction in the Tower (go see your boss, go see your gunmaker, go see the shipwright, alright you're done thing)?

If you didn't do any of those things then do them. If you did, maybe restart your PS4?

Thank you, I screwed up at the Tower. I'm sitting her at level 8 and never went to the gunsmith and accepted a weapon. I kept hitting dismiss and then buying a different gun.

*smacks head*

Wishful thinking, but it would be really cool if they just kept the Alpha going until the Beta drops in July,and kept the Beta up until release. Early access style.

Just found the route through the Strike mission but in free roam mode instead. Went through the areas, killed the spider tank on my own and got fuck all for my efforts.

Figured there would be some sort of reward even though naturally it's easier as you're not doing the actual strike mission.
 
The unsung hero in all this has been PSN. Running both BFH beta and Destiny alpha, while at the same time maintaining its regular service. I haven't any issues :)

I didn't expect to like this at all since I'm pretty indifferent to Bungie and not a fan of Borderlands, but I've been pretty impressed. The guns feel great and the encounters have been fun. I was concerned about the enemies being bullet sponges, but that only seems to be the case for bosses, everything else dies pretty quickly when hit with a headshot or two. The only real complaint I have is that there don't seem to be enough players wandering around. I've encountered several of those random world events (sorry I forgot what they're called) and have been the only one around for all of them. Is there a small player limit per instance in old russia? Other than that I've been having a blast, I'm definitely buying it.

I am curious, has anyone been able to complete the Walking Tall bounty (complete a strike mission without dying)? I did the devil's lair strike earlier today and finished it without dying, but didn't get credit for it. Do you have to complete it on legend without dying?

Also don't just hit level 6 and think you're good. Hover over the difficulty during mission select and it gives you a gear check percentage and tells you if you're over geared, under geared and what items.
 
The PvP is shite. Ok, it's not terrible but if I want to play Domination, I'll play COD where it's 60fps and the hit detection is much better.

I saw something like you need to play PvP in order to get some better weaponry for PvE? Ugh, please don't, Bungie.

Yeah, that is pretty good for PSN due to the massive download queues from both games as well.

yeah, screw that. i would rather they reset everything from this to beta and again from beta to retail. if anything, at retail. i want everyone starting fresh in the world. i wanna see players evolve with me.
 
Not sure why people are calling this Borderlands. Its essentially a next gen version of halo with rpg elements thrown in. Its my damn dream game. I finally found it.

Got some rare materials from finishing a public event on my own where I had to transmit some sort of signal. So awesome.

Why is it sometimes when you go into explore you dont run into anybody? I want to do public events with a bunch of people. Like taking down that elite guy who runs away after awhile during the strike activity.

Fusion weapons rock by the way. I have this one fusion gun with 93 attack and frost dmg. Its an uncommon weapon that almost always kills in a single hit.

Got all green stuff except my leg armor. And I found those blue mats.

I just grabbed it! So happy when I found it on the market and for such a cheap price.
 
So is Hunter the only class with the double jump? Wasn't feeling the Warlock's glide. The controls feel really weird for that, it never did what I wanted. Double jump is better but the timing also feels strange to me.

Yeah I actually waited for the refresh and got a green full auto that does 96 damage


As far as the Alpha goes, I'm finding better gear at the vendor than what I get from strikes, unless that changes if you do legendary

Your setting / fireteam is defaulted to friends, switch to public, it fills up quick

What the flying hell is the weapon in MP that kills me in two shots? Its not a sniper rifle.

Also, can someone confirm warlock is the worst class?
 
So, The Tower has some construction going on. Is this a fun way of keeping the areas closed off because Destiny is still "under construction?" Cause that's really fun and clever, if so.
 
So what do you guys think of the chance Bungie won't reset everything for the Beta, and then once again for the launch?


Personally. I hope we don't get reset.. Or at least give us like a bonus weapon/armor pack or Glimmers for help participating in the Alpha and Beta.
