Offsides via camera should be possible. SportsVU already tracks individual player movements, tabulatinga wide array of data, including distance traveled and speed. The NFL cameras track the first down marker across the full length of the field, witbi credible accuracy. Of the ball breaks the yellow line by a hair, it breaks the field markers by the same. I see no reason offsides can't be automated other than collisions might make it harder to differentiate players. PEACE.
