Spain, defending champions playing against the runners up and they got thumped and it could very easily have been by a much larger margin.

Ghana barely qualified... they are the worst African team in this tournament.

They won 5 out of 6 games in their group and smashed Egypt. Cameroon actually did worse at qualifying. Algeria barely did. Gyan was the top goalscorer for the qualifier.
