Season 1: episode 6 "What Death Can Join Together"
Vanessa's latest vision leads Sir Malcolm, Ethan and Sembene on a search. Professor Van Helsing reveals more details to Dr. Frankenstein about who has taken Mina. A night with Dorian unlocks something dark within Vanessa.
Fuck yeahNew episode today:
Yeah, he's barely in it. He has a couple more scenes after that one but is just used as a punchline for a few jokes. The kids that surround him in that clip are the main characters.
.
Best part?
It focussed on the best characters, Vanessa and Malcolm.
Blessed free of Billie Pipers Irish accent.
What's wrong with her accent? It's a Northern Irish one not Rep of Ireland and it's pretty much spot on.
Goddamn! I Love this show!
that was fucking awesome
Who is writing and directing these? Any notable past efforts? Shit is awesome.
John Logan (Gladiator, The Last Samurai, Hugo and Skyfall screenwriter) wrote the whole series.Who is writing and directing these? Any notable past efforts? Shit is awesome.
Looking at the activity os this thread and my Facebook feed looks like this show has a very low viewership even tough it should be up there with the best
If vampire guy on ship is Dracula........is anyone else kinda disappointed?
He seems kinda weaksauce. Maybe he is weakened but will recover.
Would be cool to see him as a charming and clever antagonist to our heroes rather than an just another ugly dumb beast monster.
I would let Eva cut me all day long.
Pretty god show, not great yet, but It has potential. Love Eva and Dalton.

Tough run with being Sunday and everyone is watching Game of Thrones. Hopefully they can push it more and are banking on those viewers to come over now that GoT just ended their season. It would be a shame for this to not get picked up from another season. I have been waiting so long for a show like this.
So Van Helsing has killed vampires (no way) and a ship full of vampires and the "for the dead travels fast" quote, how can they not be building up to Dracula?
Edit: Wait, he was on the ship?
Let's hope. So, is it Timothy Dalton's turn to have sex with Dorian Gray in the next episode?
It's not 100% confirmed, but he was in Vanessa's room so we know he's in London. The vampire on the ship was also carrying Mina soooo maybe 90% sure it was him.
I hope they design the human form for Dracula to be a bit more... classic?
But then again, maybe they are going for the Count Orlock version of Dracula which would explain the monster design

Actually... come to think of it... I would love if they went full on Orlock!
Two disappointing things in last episode were how weak were the female vampires. Shouldn't they be like super strong. Secondly how easily. Van helsing was killed off. He was supposed to be vampire killer and the reaction of Frankistine. He just met him twice before.
Both great movies. I love them both. I remember seeing the Herzog Nosferatu and thinking that it was a cheesy ass bad German soap opera when it first starts. But man, the film just gets darker and darker throughout. So good.
I wish "Dracula" had more presence in the movie. Only thing I can figure out is that he wants the demon inside Eva Green for reasons. I also want to see Dorian's portrait already! Although maybe leaving it to the imagination would be better... I really have no clue what could it be showing.
Caliban, you greasy little fuck. You are back on my shit list.

Probably just a big disgusting hunk of rotted meat.
