I hate the cunt but there's no denying that he was the key member of this squad. More than anything, this team simply has not been able to keep the ball the way they did in 2010 or even in 2012 (when the cracks were beginning to show) and Xavi's obviously plays a huge role in that.

Xavi deserved the Ballon d'or in 2010. Easy to say that Messi is the best player on the planet, and he probably is, but Xavi was the single most important player in two of the best sides of all time.
