SATO-SAN!!!!

Youkoso Hitori Bocchi ~ Hitori Bocchi ~ Hitori Bocchi ~

Literally just got done catching up to episode 10. Show is so much fun, though a very good amount of the references are going to go right over people's heads.
They're playing fucking GalGun right now.

episode 11 is awesome. ! just wait when they count all the good anime they like :D

I would suspect one title that hasnt come up too often is Rurouni Kenshin Tsuiokuhen (also known as Samurai X Trust and Betrayal).

It's a romantic tragedy involving an assassin/samurai. It's only 2 hours long.

One of my all time favorites.

Here are a few of my favourites:
- Planetes (awesome show if you're into sci-fi)
- Welcome to the NHK
- Ping Pong
- The Tatami Galaxy
- Hajime no Ippo
- FLCL
- Summer Wars
- The Black Lagoon
- Fullmetal Alchemist (both adaptations)
- Katanagatari

Some of them are "old", but they're still worth watching.

Lots of love for Claymore makes me happy.

Little love of Heat Guy J makes me sad.

its just me spamming it over and over again whenever an anime thread pops up,

Claymore doesn't get enough recognition, its heads and shoulders above any of the fantasy stuff that's come out in the past 5 years

They really need to either continue or redo the anime. I keep wanting people to experience how awesome it is, but it's harder to get the average person to read a comic book than it is watch a series.

Because it's real bad and doesn't have the hilarious Engrish of the original. But you wouldn't understand, you're not a Japanese culture expert like we are.

It's really not. I was really happy they retained the cast for roberta's blood trail. I'd put it up there with stand alone complex and wolf's rain. I say this as someone who typically watches and prefers subs. They did right by these.

If you end up liking death note, please watch Monster. It's an amazing psychological thriller about a neurosurgeon who finds himself accused of criminal activity.

In the future, when giving away things to GAF, I recommend using EMAIL tags, which can only be seen by members by clicking "Quote" next to a post and viewing the underlying BBC.

Quote to see:

Not that I have anything against GAF lurkers without an account, but if your intent is to make sure your keys go to a GAFer, then EMAIL is the way to do it.

I really don't care if lurkers take em. Even when they were exposed openly it took almost 18 hours for the last 3 I posted to be taken.

Well that's fine, just putting out some knowledge in case anyone wanted to share something more sensitive.

Man, some great suggestions from this thread. Looks like I should get busy watching some of the shows you guys recommended, hehe. :D

Did you get to draw the tits?

No. :(
I'm a junior animator back then so it's mostly background characters, the cheering crowd etc. And everything were done in 3d so I didn't get to draw anything. We were also the one who modeled those crowd so I sneaked in a jar jar binks knockoff(i doubt you can see him though since that shot is so small lol)

I want to see the receipts.

I want to see the receipts.

You mean proof? I'm not sure if my name was in there since the project was contracted to my former company(G-style/Pixelstream in Japan), So it's almost always that it's just the company and not names.

edIT: Removed some info that might expose my name and some friends in the intrawebs. If you are curious about my works. Just send me a PM.

Sigh, I get tired of making people angry by doing this, so I'm going to put a disclaimer here just to avoid an argument.

This is not a post meant to dissuade you from watching FMA:Brotherhood. This is a post meant to convince you to give the original FULL METAL ALCHEMIST series a chance since almost no one is recommending it.

It gets flack for having a polarizing ending (that requires you to pay attention to the dialogue) and for not being a straight manga adaptation. However, it's also gorgeous and extremely well directed.

Examples of backgrounds, amount of background characters that aren't blobs, and consistent character animation. Tried to avoid spoilers, or I probably could have shown off a couple more, even more gorgeous shots. The framing especially is absolutely gorgeous, such as the window or grandfather clock shots. This show took full advantage of the 4:3 aspect ratio. Anyway, I hope this isn't too many images. I cut it down to as many as I felt comfortable NOT showing off.

And this is just the first few episodes!

Be sure to watch the original first. It handled the first fourth of FMA much better than Brotherhood.
