The premiere seemed cheesier than usual and the mancandy was not up to my exacting standards. Malia is blah. Season 2 opening is best opening (the stylized sequence with the theme song). Shame they couldn't top it this season.

Their reviews for Teen Wolf were always awful. They would skip huge chunks of the episodes and generally gave the impression that it was like having teeth pulled to review the show. I used them because they are a well known site, but I had decided to try and look for another source even before this announcement.

If you guys have any suggestions, just let me know.
 
They wasted an opportunity to make a joke about someone throwing away a perfectly good white boy,

I'm not totally convinced yet but I did love them together in the first episode. I hope they keep on this path with Stiles and Malia because I could change my mind about them.

Both Stydia and Sterek fans, though obviously not all of them, were up in arms about Stiles and Malia, despite the fact that it's blatantly apparent that this has been the plan since season 2. (Though it was supposed to be Erica, then Cora, with Stiles.)

Acting like Jeff Davis has purposely done this at the last minute to ruin their ships. I'm all for passionate fans, I'm one too, but to get so invested in their personal fan interpretation of a character, despite everything else, sounds exhausting. That's why I prefer to discuss the show here, since it's way more laid back and accepting. People don't jump down your throat for having a different opinion.

Tumblr is full of those types of people tbh honest. A bunch of reactionary post fueled by their dislike of Malia. One person was actually deluded enough to think that Stiled suddenly hates Lydia and treated her like trash this episode.

There is a lot of awesome stuff on Tumblr, but when you start delving into the fan discussions for pretty much any fandom, it can get quite toxic. The same can be said of almost any social site, but it sucks having to wade through it to find the good stuff.

I know there's good stuff, but there's a metric ton of crazy people that drown it out.
 
Just saw the first episode. Wow they are finally out of Beacon Hills for once. Maybe this could be the road trip season?

Also Young Derek is interesting. Because it makes for everyone wants and that's Derek interacting with the other characters more so the only way to do that is de-age him and send him to high school. (Finally some Basketball being shown instead of Lacrosse) Maybe Peter will also get de-aged too. Liked that flashback episode in the first half of Season 3.

Obviously this will be Hale focused season which is needed because there are still plot holes from season one that need to be addressed.

I imagine more flashback episodes and explanations. We'll learn more about Derek and his relationship with Kate, the eventual backstabbing, the house fire, the aftermath, and the transformation to the Derek we all knew. I also imagine this will also shed more light on Talia and her role in his life some more and even Peter too (How Malia was created, who was her mother, who did he kill to get blue eyes, and why he creeps on Derek and high school students).

Should be an interesting season.

There's a problem with Parrish's shirt. Look at all the creases at the shoulders; highly unprofessional tbh. He should take it off and iron it, slowly. Quite honestly, that should take up a whole episode. I'm sure I speak for everyone when I say my confidence in Beacon Hills' police force has been shaken to the very core, and the only thing that can restore it is 40 minutes of shirtless ironing.

I'm pretty sure some of the other deputies can handle the shirtless ironing. (Hello, random new dude on the right!)

Parrish needs to clean up after all that crime fighting. A forty minute shower, with limited commercial interruption, is in order.
