So much for Radwanska being a title contender here. Not even with this ridiculous draw... Lets just agree that she will never win a slam. She can be briliant for a match or two, but she cant keep her level to win it all. She doesnt have a champion mentality.

Would be crazy if Radwanska and Wozniaki go their entire careers without a slam

Her best chance was here last year I think.

when was the last time tsonga won against a top player?

Federer at the French Open last year I think. Not that that was really impressive considering Roger's 2013.

Sharapova and Kerber officially canceled. The winner would have to play three straight days to reach the final.

So this piece of shit organization insists on an arbitrary day off mid-tournament even with weather issues because 'tradition' even though no one, TV, audience, players, likes it and it actively makes for worse tennis, unfair dis/advantages for certain players, lots of 'will I play, won't I play' stress etc etc. In this case Bouchard will rest while others sweat it out.

Tough luck for Sharapova. 3 matches in 3 days will be rough. They could have moved them to center court after the Djokovic/Tsonga match, but then I remembered they have an 11pm curfew because the busses don't run past 11pm for the fans to get home. So, more than likely Sharapova's match wouldn't finish anyway since its already past 8pm and Djokovic/Tsonga are still in the 2nd set.

Gotta love the Wimbledon organizers! Best slam my ass

Actually, I don't think mental toughness is her problem, or at least not her main/only problem. In my mind, her main issue is that she really doesn't have a response to players who bully her. Sure, her game can work against them if they make too many UFEs, but if they're on and hitting more winners than errors, she's got no reply. And that's not going to change -- unless she adds some MPHs to her serve (doubtful) or her groundstrokes (also doubtful).

BTW, in response to the drama surrounding the postponement of the Sharapova-Kerber match -- I guess the "good" news is that, aside from Bouchard, the other ladies in that half of the draw will have to play/win three matches over three days to reach the final, too. So, should Sharapova and, say, Lisicki make their way to the SF in a few days, both will be equally tired. That's kind of getting ahead of ourselves, though, if you ask me!

Tsonga getting destroyed by nole. Dude is unbeatable when he's on game. Effortlessly brutal ground strokes + dat movement= hhhnnnnng.

So guys, there's no way Nadull is winning this, right? Other guys like Nole,Murray and even Olderer are looking a lot stronger. I just have that sick feeling that somehow he reaches his *final form* again towards the end of the tournament

As long as Nole and Andy don't tire out each other too much, one of them is taking it for sure. However if their semi goes 5 and Rafa breezes through his semi, and scheduling means playing back to back days, then Nadal has a good shot.

Nole maybe but I can't see Murray beating Nadal here. Hopefully Murray doesn't take out Nole before the final. I want to see an epic final.

Roger and Nadal are in the same bracket for semis, right? Nothing would please me more if Roger eliminated his mortal enemy.

Their last 6 meetings @GS tournaments:

2014 AO: 3-0 Nadal
2012 AO: 3-1 Nadal
2011 FO: 3-1 Nadal
2009 AO: 3-2 Nadal
2008 W: 3-2 Nadal
2008 FO: 3-0 Nadal

I predict a 3-0 for Nadal if Federer manages to defeat Wawrinka.

It would be great for Federer to just get one more win against Nadal on a major stage, if only to just get that load off his mind. I don't think it will happen, but at the very least I'd love to see a competitive match between them in which Fed doesn't melt down with loads of unforced errors over the course of ~15 points.

Raonic/Nishikori is on Court 3 at the same time, which to me looks like a great match in the making so I don't get that decision. Well, I suppose they give Kvitova high billing due to her being a former champion and all.

if Fed is to beat him, this is the GS he has the best chance of doing this on.

"For sure," huh? I always love it when people say such things. I mean, yes, it's possible - maybe even likely -- that Djokovic or Murray could beat Nadal in the final, should any of them get that far, but to say there's no doubt about it is ... interesting, IMO.

Personally, I say that if Nadal gets through his next two rounds, it's extremely possible he'll win the whole thing. That's saying a lot, though, as he could lose either of those matches.

Yeah, I hope it turns out well, but I think Nishikori will have to play a bit better than he has so far. Raonic has looked pretty solid.

Wow, that Novak match was surprisingly routine. I saw some of Murray's match (came in when the roof was being closed). Murray reminds me a lot of myself, in that he anticipates the ball really well and always makes his opponent play that one extra shot. I can totally see why Murray pushes (but I instinctively can't play like that)

And speaking of me playing tennis, I played FIVE back-to-back sets of tennis today (doubles, and won 4 of them). The only reason I played so much was because when you win the set, you're "obligated" to play the next team. After my last set thought I was going to die. It literally took me about 15 minutes to get out of my car, lol.

When is the GAF open? Seriously someone just wire me $1000 for travel expenses and board and I'm there. Me and Rafa=Fedkilla can take on MIMIC and Niraj in the doubles final

LOL, what?

Maybe I worded that wrong.

He's a lot like you.

Only weirdos like him.

Just kidding.

Let me know so I know when to start my cyc...I mean...so I can train.

I was pissed too until I saw she will open CC tomorrow. Its the only match I can watch so I am happy.

Kidding aside, three matches in a row will be tough as hell (considering she is through of course). Hopefully she wont waste much energy against Kerber. x_x

Ew, I hate Murray, lol

But he's extremely quick...and I admire that. Most of my opponents usually say that I'm the fastest person they've played. I know what it's like to piss off an opponent because they can never drop shot you :)

But back to the pros:

103 Years Since No Americans in Wimbledon Last 16
LONDON -- For the first time in more than a century, no American singles players reached the round of 16 at Wimbledon.

The last two of 23 U.S. entrants departed Monday. First, Madison Keys withdrew because of a strained left thigh before the scheduled resumption of her third-round match that was suspended because of darkness on Saturday. Then, No. 9 John Isner lost his third-round match despite hitting 52 aces, eliminated 6-7 (8), 7-6 (6), 7-6 (3), 7-5 by 19th-seeded Feliciano Lopez of Spain.

Not since 1911 had zero U.S. men or women participated in the round of 16 at Wimbledon, according to the International Tennis Federation. That year, no American women even entered the tournament and only three men did.
