Michael Bradley has been one of the best American players for a long time now. When Bob was still the coach, everyone was convinced that Bradley was starting because of nepotism. Klinsmann was hired and Bradley grew into his role, and everyone shut the fuck up because they realized that he was starting because he's a really good player. Now that he's having a disappointing World Cup, everyone is pretending that he has sucked all along and have fallen back on the nepotism excuse even though it makes no fucking sense now that Klinsmann has been the coach for three years.

Jr Nepotism was starting because daddy was manager. Fact, he shat the bed against Ghana 4 years ago but got NO blame while US fans crucified Ricardo Clark when Jr Nepotism didnt help him at all.

Jr Nepotism SUCKS. He is a much better player now than he was 4 years ago though. Which makes US fans even funnier to be calling him out now.

I agree.

Altidore diving to get Ayew suspended for the Uruguay match sums up the mindset of this side.

Project 40 in action right there.

This team looks flat. With Bradley underpeforming, we have no link in the midfield. We're slow. Bedoya and Zusi are not attacking down the flanks like they should be, especially considering that Belgium doesn't have actual fullbacks. After showing well for the first time in a long time against Germany, the defense is back to normal. Belgium will probably win this game, though there's an outside shot that we can muster a couple of moments of individual brilliance like against Ghana and come out with the win.

Belgium just had a boom in their fossil fuel production.

Belgium's mama wore high heels and she struck oil!

It's just a matter of time USA if we keep playing like this :)
