Seeing all the people in the stadium with the Neymar mask, and all the players plus Scolari with the caps supporting him, i'm starting to think that an injured Neymar will do more for the team that he could make in the field

Once he was struck down he converted in something more powerful that they could've imagined.... a martyr.

not if the ball didn't cross the goal line.

Yes. If the ball crosses the line, that is.

Hm...I don't exactly know the rules, but I don't see why not. Basically the situation is the same as when given advantage. Player is not immediately carded, but after the advantage is over he'll get his card. Considering scoring a goal is basically the perfect way to end an advantage my answer is....I ACTUALLY HAVE NO IDEA, but I don't see why not.

Edit: Seems like I guessed right

Thank you !!!

It was Brasil's plan all along

Sorry but this song is just stupid, everything from a match 24 years ago? After which Brazil has won 2 world cups, 4 Copa America vs 2 from Argentina, one of those Copa America was against Argentina no less.

In the same span Argentina has managed to win 2 Copa America, the last one in fucking 1993.

Sorry but that's how i see it.

I understand our "hermanos" very well. When you don't have much to pride yourself, you keep dissing your enemies. It's their last resort, so we (brazilian) don't mind, we are more worried about looking for space to put our Tropheus! :P

So, Scolari decided to keep the same team, just replacing Neymar with Bernard
Everyone here was thinking that he would start the game with William.

Not really. They do it because its annoying and it apparently works since you guys keep talking about it lol.

Just let it go guys...

Pumped up for the game, Brasil 1 x 1 Germany with Brasil advancing on OT or Penalties.

Brasil has been mediocre, but i watched Germany and they were awful in two games and mediocre on two (USA and France). Nothing shown makes them favorites. It's the old euro superiority BS. They have a great team on paper, but played below their standards so far.

Brasil has a young team that's two or three years away from being ready, they were rushed into this because some other stars like Kaká Robinho an Ronaldinho just decided to went downhill with their carrears sooner than what most predicted.

Fred the cone will score just for the lols.

You come home from the tulip fields, all hungry, tired and painful feet because we have Wooden Shoe™ technology.. You eat your cheese because you got the munchies.
Sounds like my average day. Smoke some weed, visit the red light district and check out some windmills on my day off.

also considering that he did not have much of a presence in the last game (before injury) and the team managed to win by 2... they still got this

You have come far, Brazil. The passion with which you play is admirable. But as the end to this tournament draws near, it's time for this charade to end...

...you see, in actuality we have only been playing at 30% of our maximum power.

Honestly, guys, I just want a Brasil v. Argentina final so that I can sing this shit at the top of my lungs when we hoist the Cup in Rio: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1IOGFENyGJM

EDIT: Translation for gaf:

Brazil tell me what it feels like

Having your Dad home (referencing ARG being in Brazil)

I swear that even though the years pass

We will never forget

That Diego juked you

That Cani scored on you

That you've been crying ever since Italy

You're going to see Messi

He's going to bring us the cup

Maradona is better than Pele
This is the most pathetic chant ever LOL.
Saying Arg is the "dad" lol, they haven't won ANYTHING in 20 years while Brasil has 2 WC, several Copa Americas, Confederations etc.
Butthurt args with the worts chant ever.

Also the joke is about Brasil losing in Italy, dafuq??, they won the next one anyways.

Worse yet, Maradona is better than Pelé... lol

Pelé scored more than 1200 goals, has 3 WC (more than Argentina), was already one of the greats when he was only 17 years old etc.

A world cup loses its charm when there is no Brazil. They must advance into the final so that the tournament keeps its charm.

Um, the "dad" reference is a typical insult in reference to a nation winning the H2H, which ARG currently holds. It's not a reflection of overall accolades.

Additionally, Italy was when ARG knocked out Brazil. The last time they've played one another in the World Cup, hence the reference.

1200+ isn't even the official tally, although his ~700 tally is still mighty impressive. Nonetheless, considering the majority of his goals were with Santos, in a very uncompetitive Brazilian league at the time, it's not a 1:1 comparison.

Regardless, there's clearly a debate on the issue and one you nor I can objectively answer. That question, who is greater between the two, will rage for an eternity. Such is the life with sports.

We might as well argue who is more powerful: Superman or Thor
