When I see bet posts, I always want to see the rest of their betting history. Because a broken clock is right twice a day but it's not very impressive. Most people with crazy bets are likely serial gamblers.
They'd have to take four of our titles away and retroactively make the one that we'd be left with robbed for that to happen.

That means nothing. What if their possession was mostly comprised of them trying to bypass the German defense (which is true, a lot of passing back and across the field) and shots were flail attempts to get near a goal?

A goal rich match like this needed to happen after the disappointing scorelines in the RO16/Quarter Finals, when the skeptics and pessimists in Footie-GAF were worried the free flowing goals were never going to come again and a lot of matches were ending at either ET or with penalties.
A decisive thumping like this in the Semis is almost unheard of in the World Cup. By any team. I'm looking forward to either NED or ARG (or both) to make this the most goal laden semis ever for any World Cup in history.

Oh okay i agree, but at the same time I don't think the played any better in this game than in the others tbh. Brazil just got thoroughly out played and defence was horrid.
Rewatching the game and I dont understand how Brazil was playing like this. It's as if Germany could have scored anytime they wanted to.

Most of the those must have come right at the beginning and right at the end in junk time when Germany had long taken its foot off the gas. That's why the sloppily gave up the only goal in the 90th minute.
I think I was analyzing this game quite right when I said in the beginning that Germany had this cool nature and they were just waiting to see what Brazil had. They pounced and when they did, they put their foot in Brazil's throat but no one could have imagined that 5 goal run in 18 minutes.
