using the ever so scientific FIFA vidya game to simulate the match, the stars point to Argentina

You keep getting different scores. Which means it's highly unreliable. I used a much more reliable source. So after the chicken was sacrificed and the bones and sacred ritual stones were cast all signs appoint to a 3-1 victory for The Netherlands. Messi manages to score once, so there's that.

who did you sacrifice them to? if your sacrificing them to Ra your gonna get the wrong outcome

By the way, is there any comment from Ronaldo concerning Klose? That guy must be crushed. Not only Brazil got destroyed his record got destroyed too...

Oh boy, now I can't contain the hype concerning the finale...

I hope you ate that chicken after you sacrificed it.

cause I'm hungry right now and KFC and popeyes is closed, and I would be angry if you wasted that chicken

That's $2 billion a year of a country with a GDP of $15 trillion. Let's assume the US's GDP in 2000, which was about $10 trillion. That's 0.0002% of GDP.

Brazil's GDP is 2.2 trillion. That $11 billion for the stadiums comes out to be 0.05% of GDP. Or in real terms, it's 250 times more costly for the Brazilian people.

GDP = private economy. The US government on the other hand is already heavy in debt. The only reason they are still able to get credits is because of their political power. Otherwise they'd be pretty much fucked like Greece (just without being in an Union with other countries who pay the bill).

brazilian fan breaks tv. can somebody translate? don't know if it was filmed today.

lol

The dude who is throwing the tv is saying stuff like "sons of bitches", "sons of bitches team", "go play in hell", "cuckold team", "shameless team", "This team sucks, gonna lose by 7 or 8".

The other dude is saying "No, don't do this!" "No, for God's sake!"

The one filming said: "Go, Brazil!"

Sums up the game really.

Woke up an hour ago...still singing "Oh wie ist daa schön" like a madman and actively have to refrain myself from singing "We are the champions". Life is so, so good right now

So I'm not the only one, I wish I recorded the game...but I guess it should be in the "ZDF Mediathek" shouldnt it?

This was sooo close to 8-1 that it hurts.Which would have made this video perfect. Alas, the Germans came up short. Still, close enough.

Ripping Yarns - Eight Bloody One

It was as if they just never quite believed after conceding that first goal. The casual way they conceded the goals, as if it was a training ground session, exposed that without their star players, they had no fight left in them. It was too easy for the Germans.

So I saw the CBC.ca stream and the BBC stream just to hear the commentary and listen to the commentators reactions to Brazil falling apart.

Anyone have links to any other streams of different channels with different commentators?

Maybe you're still in HS but a person's debt /= national debt.

National debt makes the global market go around.

Leave your Glenn Beck talking points at home, please.

All sacrifices are devoted to based Cruyff.

After the head was chopped of we threw it in Messi's bed. So he'll get a nice rest, don't you worry >:|
We donated the flesh of the body to the kid Messi ignored. It wasn't much, but he said he liked chicken better then Messi anyways.

I'd guess so, yeah. Haha I have no idea how to survive work today, so damn tired. Also can't really call in sick since I just started this monday. Oh well, lots and lots of coffee should suffice >.<

wonder how brasil is gonna play on Saturday

They should play with the reserve squad.

By the way, Maxwell deserved better luck. Dude was one of the finest Brazilian left backs in the last 10 years. Wasn't called in 2006 and 2010 and in this World Cup he never played a match and had to see Marcelo's poor overall performance.

Sucks but it's not that big of a deal. Boateng, Khedira and Bastian (whom was immense against Barca) will handle Messi while the others suffocate play to him, someone constantly harassing Mascherano. Hummels absence against Algeria and the struggles of Germany was coincidental, that had more to do with the gameplan. Against Argentina the game will unfold like Germany-France, in which case you'd purely rely on Messi magic.

Not even Marcelo, dude. How much space could the midfielders and the back four possibly give to Germany - even after the second goal? It was comical.

Turning the ball over like that and just standing roughly 5 meters away for no reason made no sense.

Almost like you'd imagine an amateur team would be playing...against a team full of 10-year-old girls that they didn't want to tackle.

I also don't give a shit about Luiz crying. After that lazy run back on the fifth goal where he clearly wasn't interested in defending at all?

I seriously don't care who wins tonight. On sunday we let them inside the stadium, we will beat them and maybe we will let them out again. It's all about Germany. It was always about Germany. Give us the damn title.

I agree with you.

Why does Fred get all the abuse? The defense fucked it up
He had about two chances in the game that he turned into a turnover and a shitty back pass.

Granted, this was after they were already down by 4 goals so who gives a shit? Strikers playing poorly are easy targets.
Surely a 34 year-old Ronaldinho would of put in a better performance as a forward than Fred did :/
...they don't even remotely play the same position.

On the plus side, at least England fans will be able to sing "It's just like watching Brazil!" with some confidence now.

already up and filled.

Several records:
Miroslav Klose broke the record for the most goals scored at the finals with 16, overtaking Brazil's Ronaldo.[19][20]
It was the first time five (5) goals were scored in a 29-minute period of play.[21]
It was the fastest four goals scored in World Cup history as Germany scored four (4) in the span of six minutes (from 23 to 29).
It was Brazil's worst ever home defeat.
It was Brazil's worst ever defeat, tied with the 0–6 loss to Uruguay in 1920.[21]
Germany became the goal scorer leader at the World Cup finals with 223, passing Brazil's total of 221.[21]
The match contained the most goals scored against the host nation of the World Cup, with Austria defeating Switzerland 7–5 in 1954; the next highest was Brazil, who won 5–2 against hosts Sweden in 1958.
Brazil had never before allowed seven (7) goals playing at home.
The defeat broke Brazil's 62-match home unbeaten streak in competitive matches dating back to its 1–3 loss to Peru in the 1975 Copa America.[4][5]
It was worst World Cup semi-final defeat suffered by any national team.[21]
It was first time since 1938 that Brazil have lost a World Cup semi-final, as they had progressed in their previous six.
It was the first time that Brazil had conceded more than five World Cup goals since 1938.
Brazil have conceded more than seven goals in a game only during a 4–8 friendly defeat to Yugoslavia on 3 June 1934.
Brazil is only the second host team to concede seven goals in a World Cup match.
It was Germany's highest half-time lead in a World Cup match, with their previous best being 4–0 against Saudi Arabia at the 2002 FIFA World Cup (their greatest win, 8–0).
Only two teams have previously trailed by five goals at half-time: Zaire (vs. Yugoslavia in 1974) and Haiti (vs. Poland in 1974).[22]
No other team has ever scored seven goals in the semi-finals of the World Cup.[21]
Thomas Müller scored Germany's 2,000th goal in the history of their national team.[22]
Müller became the third player in history to score five or more goals in two different World Cups (after Cubillas and Klose).
Toni Kroos' first-half double was the fastest pair of goals scored in World Cup history, as he scored twice in just 69 seconds.[21]

http://www.sbs.com.au/news/article/2014/07/09/buses-set-ablaze-after-brazils-world-cup-loss

There were reports of a mass robbery at a fan party in Rio de Janeiro and of fans setting fire to Brazilian flags in the streets of São Paulo even before the match was over.
A number of buses were burned across São Paulo and an electronics store looted.

there has been a death. =/ I only wanted tears, not blood.
It has been reported that at least one person has died due to the incidents, in Rio de Janeiro.

And Brazilian press with all the ridiculous effort to compare Neymar with Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo... Neymar isn't even better than players like Müller, Ibrahimovic, Bale, Suarez, Robben, etc.

Neymar played well. And he's only getting better....
I think he made a mistake going to Barca though. Messi will always be the focus of the team and now with Suarez coming it's going to be tough for him.

I'm watching all the Brazilian news sites and I don't see any news regarding the death. I hope nothing happened. I just saw that 5 people were arrested due to the loot in the electronics store. And 7 people were arrested in Rio after the robbery.
