Nah, not really. I mostly used the Sparrow to go to capture points faster. And I have used rockets on tanks, but I'd rather cap than spend time taking a tank down (although this would probably help my team cap faster). Luckily, there was always someone on my team who would be on tank duty. I wish there was a hijack option like in Halo.

I think its worth it, i mean me personally, i would love to play it on the PS4 but im not shelling out the money now just to play this game. And ya there hasn't been any word, but i really really hope that its at least cross-gen. The hardware and everything is in place to be able to do this, and they have said that they will allow people to transfer their account from the PS3 to PS4 so i dont see why they couldn't let people play together anyway. Especially if the majority of people will be on PS4 the PS3 and the rest of the systems game environments and community will be soo damn bare and hardly any people and thats not good for the game or for business so i hope they are smart and find someway to make it happen
Also just yesterday i went on bungie.net and requested to be part of DestinyGAF like i said above my PSN is Squall516 and my bungie.net Unique ID is Kakashi516 (happens to also be my xbox live gamertag since ive been playing Halo since Halo 1 and was the leader of a few clans during Halo 2 and 3. I've been on bungie.net since they first opened and was part of bungie pro and i expect to play everyday if i can so id love to be apart of the clan and can take on some sort of leadership aspect if needed) Got my LE ordered already and i cant wait for the beta ^___^

Quick question. I got a beta code for Destiny from preordering the PS4 bundle, but obviously do not have a PS4 to play it on lol. Does anyone know if I'll still get the bonus stuff since I'm technically in the beta? If not, that's just kinda messed up.
I really hope it's cross-generation online. Why even release the PS3 version if it's not?
And yeah, I'm holding off on the PS4 for a while too so I'm in the same boat.
It's an emblem and probably not. You have to play after 2pm on the 26th. You could play on the PS3 and maybe it'll transfer over.
ya you should still get all the bonus stuff from pre-ordering and what not, but the bonus that they announced from playing on 7/26 i believe it was in the beta, if you dont login and play the beta that day you wont get that specific bonus. But if you have a PS3 or 360 id say you got the beta code from the bundle right? just play the beta on that and when you pick up the Destiny bundle and set up your PS4 you can just play the game on that when it starts. Hope that helps ^__^

Ya, i mean they havnt 100% confirmed it but they have said that it is something that they really want to do and are working on to transfer from PS3->PS4 http://www.polygon.com/2014/4/28/5653642/destiny-ps3-upgrade-next-gen-ps4-xbox-one-compatible-windows-pc. Dont think it will be available right away but im pretty sure we will eventually get something like that. And if they can do something like that and have the systems in place i really hope that they can do cross-gen play too since ill be playing it on the PS3 :/ lol

Don't think so, no. I meant that I was also in support of it for the full game. That was one of the big things Bungie added to vehicles in their Halo games, and I feel like it was only excluded to make them seem different. I mean, if they had planned to put it in, they wouldn't do so this close to release, right? Seems like something that would have been developed alongside vehicles.
There aren't really more hazards for vehicles than there were in the Halo games, so if they removed vehicle boarding to make vehicles seem more powerful, I wouldn't necessarily agree with that.
I'd also like to see some kind of assassinations in the game. It might just be that Halo influence again, but something still feels off about hitting someone in the back and not one-hit-killing them.
I was really really hoping on Bungie day for them to show off some more vehicle for the game. I loved how Halo had a pretty decent amount of vehicles. So i really hope that if not at least in the beta in the final game, they will have more vehicles hopefully i flying one, you can hijack some of the alien vehicles and hopefully use some of the alien guns instead of just the futuristic human guns. I really hope so and got my fingers crossed, those aspects were some of the best things about Halo imo ^_^
Having someone in a turret and another person shooting rockets is the best technique against those tanks that I've encountered; those tanks get nuked.
And I fucking love the moon map. Spawning, casting your vehicle and then boost through the base gave me so great Star Wars vibes. The sense of scale on that map is great as well and I think it's pretty balanced.

Oh yea, I got some mad Battlefront vibes from that level. And the thing about the size is that it's actually smaller than it appears. I never felt that I couldn't travel to one side quickly or safely.
Early balance issues aside, I don't dislike any level in the game so far.

Really? Where? I really want to preorder the Digital Limited Edition (or Guardian Edition, whatever the hell it's called. Please stop with all these different editions!) but I can't find it on the PSN EU store, either through my PS4 or via my computer on the PlayStation site.
At this rate I'll just stick with the basic edition I pre-ordered after the Alpha. Such a confusing mess.

I think the game is pre-loadable on the EU store. The game will probably unlock at 12AM GMT on the 17th, so as early as midnight. If you can play at midnight I'd rather have digital then physical.
Also the ease of jumping into a game is better.

I already have my 1 TB drive ready since day one but these things still push me towards physical copies. Not having to switch discs every now and then feels great. I want that as soon as possible!
You'll get beta with pre order. I wouldn't get the Digital LE.
You can wait to get the DLC later if you want. Will only cost you $5 more ($35 total) for it, but the way I figure it is by the time the DLC comes out, you'll be too busy playing Bloodborne, Arkham Knight, Uncharted 4, Person 5 or who knows what.
All I need now is an SSD......
Can you preload games from there and does the online work with the PS+ of the main EU account on the console? I wouldn't mind jumping through the hoops of buying US PSN cards to make the purchase if everything works as intended.

When I downloaded the Alpha on my US account, I couldn't access it with my EU PSN+ account though. This scares me.

100% agree. But i never did it...
I'm gonna search how to buy games on US PSS from France. For what i already know, i have to do it via amazon.com.
Both accounts have to be "main account" on your PS4.
