Considering the low expectations beforehand I can I'm really proud of what our team still managed to accomplish. It was truly a team and so many players had crucial roles. Depay, Fer, Robben, Van Persie, Krul, Kuyt, Sneijder, Blind, Vlaar, Huntelaar and De Jong all had their moments. It was definitely not the best squad The Netherlands ever had, but LvG did a great job with what was handed to him. We simply weren't good enough.

It'll be interesting to see what kind of team we'll have in four years, though.

Yeah, I would've been glad if we had just won to Australia. Semi-final was way above my expectations. It always sucks losing on penalties, but even then, though no side really deserved it more, Argentina was better. Can't really argue against it. Happy with this tournament.
