Hope is all you can really do, honestly. But there are a lot of fan meetings that they do, Bayern, especially after celebrations. A lot of people look at them as a pretty big jerk club, stealing all the talent, but they are really class people and care a lot about their fans and about Munich. Just get a lot of bad publicity from some of the people making mistakes or being dumb.

I am an extremely lucky guy, really. When I still lived in Munich, I had season tickets every year and got a ton of opportunities to be close to the bench. They talk a lot and give out some pretty cool things now and then. If you ever do get the chance to go, you should really take it. Germany is a beautiful country, Munich is an awesome place, Allianz is a great stadium, and watching them in person is so satisfying.

I plan on it. I really want to travel to Germany for a week or so anyway.

Any experience with Neuer? He's my man-crush.

short version : spinning balls usually have curved trajectories.
longer version : the ball is spinning counter-clockwise. From its point of view, the air has a relative motion opposite to the shot direction. But the right part of the ball is "pushing" the air in the opposite direction of that relative motion, while the left part is pushing it in the same direction. As a consequence there is a higher air pressure on the right and a lower pressure on the left, which results in a force pushing the ball from right to left.
