cat goalie isn't that bad

Did Germany actually lose once in a penalty shootout? I'm drawing a blank.

Denmark 92?

Not in the World Cup. We have participated in 4 during the World Cup - 1982, 1986, 1990, and 2006, having won all of them.

However, we have lost in Yugoslavia '76, but that is our only Euro loss iirc. Though the chart I am looking at also lists one more so I don't know.

That said, as surprising as it sounds, Argentina have a better record than us. 73% success rate in them, having won 8/11 in their history, which is impressive.

And of course, England has the worst record of all major countries ;P

Just wondering.... how come it seems that every Brazilian attack player decline rapidly at around 30 years old? Most of them are out of Europe and had to retreat back to their home league at that age.

They put in all their effort and refine their skills in Brazil.

Then they get bought by a European team.

That's it. Payday. There's nothing left to work towards. They're rich, they're set for life.

They put in one year of effort to prove they're good, and then they check out.

European leagues are essentially the retirement homes for south American players, in the same way mls is the retirement home for Europeans.

But Ronaldo and Romario were crazy awesome in Europe, just to give two Brazilian examples.

Well that makes sense, PSV isn't a retirement team. As soon as a big money team signed him he checked out.

He was still playing for the big move at PSV.

I still remember one of his greatest goals in during his Barcelona's season the one he scored against Compostela

He was awesome, we did not win that League because he did not finish that season here.

I read that note yesterday, and the first thing I thought was about the guy who replaced Klose and scored the last two goals... he probably wasn't in that half-time meeting LOL
Ozil clearly was in the meeting tho. Turned dat 8-0 into a 7-1 by calculating an ever so slightly missed shot at the goal.

Great guy right there.

Haha, it's not trolling from my side. My English is far from perfect so i tend to just copy what i see. I'll have to agree with you it gets spelled wrong too often :p. I fixed it once before, and now i will do it again :>

It's ok.

Also, that girl is no model as Metro said, she owns a company and is a manager or something.

So, she's beautiful and loaded. Of course, you don't go to 8 world cup matches without a very decent income.

I was wrong, the girl who signed the L'oreal deal actually was the one with a dead animal in a picture.

She lost the deal because of this, and a pic where she put caps "next, we're hunting americans".

rip crush

Fanboyism aside (Lol impossible) Realistcally who do you think has the better chance of winning

Germany. Regardless of how fanboyish you are, it's hard to see an objective view as to how ARG is favored

With that said, anything can happen in a sport. It's just that if this event were to be repeated, Germany would win a majority of the clashes.

You just have to hope, as an arg fan, that Sunday's match is the day a lower probability outcome occurs.

Now "Brazilian Podolski" became a meme. lol

feijao.jpg

Only Brazilias will understand this. lol

Something like: "Storing the bean in the ice cream pot".

Others:

"Podolski is so Brazilian that he changed his name to Podolski da Silva"

"Podolski is so Brazilian that he defeated Brazil so he can beat Argentina"

"Podolski is so Brazilian that he will be champion at home"

"Podolski is so Brazilian that he has Bolsa Família card (Government's social welfare program)"

"I'm so used to Brazil that I'm even watching soap operas"
