I'm assuming if Ganondorf had a major moveset change like Shiek or Zelda it'd be highlighted in the trailer. If Ganondorf is just a captain falcon clone again he probably won't feature in any major trailer outside of maybe a launch trailer that has everyone

I was so focusing on the battles to see if I spotted anything different so I failed to notice something new with UI.

Yeah it is awesome it's back! I was excited to see it back too, but I don't blame you for looking over it. There aren't too many videos with timed stock matches up.

I'm still betting on 6 reps for each of the main franchises, with Pokemon getting Jiggs and Mewtwo, Mario getting Dr. Mario, and Zelda getting Ganondorf and a newcomer.

That's what I'm thinking for Pokemon and LoZ. I don't think we're getting Dr. Mario as a seperate character slot. He should just have the alt costume and call it a day.

I believe we'll see another LoZ newcomer but I don't know who *scratches head*

I was pulling for Impa for the longest time until Sheik got shown. Thinking of Skyward Sword reps, I can't see Demise being there. Maybe Ghirahim could be in. He'd be a legit fencer in the game plus teleporting and small diamond projectile shenanigans. Fi literally has an artificial personality lol. Groose is awesome buuuuut no.

I did. Though his bit in the story was interesting. At the same time, it also felt hollow. Samus brings up Adam in her monologue for no reason other than that the computer reminders her of him. Then

. Ok. That would be a lot more interesting if we had actually met him in a previous game first. As it was it felt entirely out of nowhere.

But the real issue I had with him was just that he wouldn't shut up. It isn't really his fault though, it's mostly a negligent oversight on the game's part. Any text that I need to mash A more than 1-3 times to get through should be skippable when I press start. I should never be forced to wait for dialogue to end if I don't want to read it. Iirc he marks his directions on the map anyway. But he was still the main object to direct the dissatisfaction with, even if he's an alright character.

That and the psynergy that Isaac is known for are more control based like move (the giant hand spell he uses in Brawl). He would be different enough to warrant both

Honestly, I'm just glad that we don't have a lot to wait for or speculate on with this particular rumor. If the next trailer comes out and it doesn't double feature, then we can safely go back to nothing. If it does feature two characters however, hype at maximum. It's a safe thing to get a little excited for just for the change up. I'd imagine that for folks looking for something to hedge their bets with better though, there isn't much substance to hold on to (Gematsu leak + some well requested stragglers with nothing pointing to the leaker's validity is a bit too little).

Honestly they need to get rid of the big picture of the character's face. There's no need for that when we have stock faces. I find it kind of obstructive.

All I want is that the camera to not allow the UI to cover a fighter. I think that should be possible to do and maybe a bit complicated.

Another thing I want is that the camera to not tilt upwards when the center is below the stage. This isn't a problem for stages that have a relatively short depth. Stages like Pokemon Stadium 1/2 and Melee FD annoyed the shit out of me with this crap.

Yeah, camera tilt is really bad on Pokemon Stadium. I always see the icons get in the way on Dreamland in Melee, too. Fixing those kinds of issues is the bigger thing. The picture next to the percent doesn't really get in the way any more than the normal UI, but I still think it looks really bad.

Yeah, it would be very interesting to see if Ganondorf would get his moveset changed after seeing some characters got their moveset "somewhat" revamped.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that they could make Isaac completely different since he have a lot of unique stuffs that would benefit his moveset. I'm saying that if he didn't get in the game then Robin would be perfect character to fall to and his magic knight archetype is so good.

Sakurai is really unabashed about how similar Lucina is to Marth. That's somewhat encouraging to me. In the end, his reasoning is attractive.

They regenerate on a timer. It's mostly to prevent spamming and add an element of strategy which makes sense given that Robin is a tactician.
