All of his suggestion are terrible, especially choosing characters from a crappy Sonic cartoon show.
I can imagine an Austin Powers-like situation where, at the end of a day, the game would show you random interaction between the pikmin, and how they react when they learn that you let some of their friends die

Yeah, there are some people that posted it in few smash thread during E3, but can't blame anyone since E3 threads were very hectic. I'm glad that Magnus is an assist trophy so people can stop supporting him as playable character.

Whoa, this thread is moving way too fast for me to keep up with the limited NeoGAF time I have! Has there been some big news, or is it all just discussion about Masked Man's Little Mac column translation (shots fired by Sakurai!) and music we want in?
Regarding the column, HELL YES. He said exactly what I wanted to hear. Smash should be about fun above all else, and considering every Smash game to date has been very unbalanced (including and especially Melee), this shouldn't piss anyone off who already calls themselves a Smash fan, including Melee tourney players. A focus on a cast of unique and interesting characters before overall balance is literally nothing new for this series, and while I would like Smash 4 to be as balanced as possible, I don't ever want it to come at the cost of having interesting characters with movesets that are faithful to the source game. I really love Sakurai's design philosophies, and this column just makes me even MORE hyped for Smash 4... if that's even possible.

Can't wait to see what you translate next - but don't bend over backwards, of course!
As for music, if I had to choose just one track from any represented series so far... god, that's hard, but I'd probably have to go with the Wily Castle theme from Mega Man 5, or maybe the one from Mega Man 4:
