Nintendo doing another Treehouse Live type of stream at SDCC.

I'll be in bed from having my wisdom teeth out.

Can you watch these streams on Wii U or PS4? I'd not mind having it on while I feel very wonky.

A Smash Bros 3DS tournament? Wouldn't it be better if they were playing on the Wii U? Or are they only trying to advertise the 3DS version?

This is great!

Forgive me, I'm just bitter about SDCC not being about comics anymore. I'm still going though. :P

Hopefully the thread for that stream will be less creepy and disturbing than the one from E3 (i.e. no posting private vacation photos in a disturbing stalker fashion).

I never got to see that as my computer was having problems. I couldn't keep up with E3 GAF.

Is in this in the same time zone as the last one? Cus if so it's a weekend and I'm going to have to choose between going out in the evening or staying in to watch this till like 2 or 3AM...

Hot damn, Nintendo is really on top of it. If they can keep this sort of juice flowing up through their next console launch, with how great their software tends to be, they could do some phenomenal things.

According to this page, it will be called Nintendo Challenge Live (Dat NCL acronym can't be coincidence.)

On July 25 and July 26, Nintendo will stream Nintendo Challenge Live, a stage show hosted from the Nintendo Gaming Lounge that features intense tournament competition and awesome game-play challenges from some of the hottest upcoming games on Nintendo platforms. Fans can open their browsers to http://www.twitch.tv/nintendo to catch all of the action and stick around for hours to soak in all the festivities.

Soon Nintendo will be so obssessed with Twotch streaming that they will set up a Big Brother type reality show streaming straight from the Treehouse.
