Why is everyone hating on the PvP all of a sudden because of this event? Regular PvP is still solid.

No it isn't. It is shitty, unbalanced mess, and the Iron Banner even more so.

Mars map is so unbalanced in Control. If you hold B and C you will win the match and there is nothing the other team can do about it. They are literally right next to each other and B's flag placement is laughably bad.

Just went 35 and 5, team won and no rewards. Some event!

I'm not feeling all the PVP complains. So far I've been really enjoying myself.

I'm having tons of fun and it never felt unfair or unbalanced.

Mars is a mostly indoor complex. Quite hard to navigate right now.

You need to use the jets and transverse it vertically. I've had no issues so far. It's a blast to move that way.

It's a demo tbh, but I will say that for the guys that have such a pedigree for MP, this has alot of balance problems

it comes off as a afterthought, like a last min add on sometimes

This is a completely useless response to the pvp criticisms. People expected Halo-esque pvp, and what they got is Call of Duty: In Space. Saying they should just "get good", is a worthless response.
