FYI Anyone joining now, We may or may not have issues as the beta is closed.

If there are any issues (hopefully there will be none) we will let you know.

Also just a word of warning we expect a massive boost of people wanting to join on Wednesday so approvals maybe subject to delays.

Be patient and remember that the beta hasn't fully implemented clans yet and this is just to get everyone ready for the launch in September.

And most importantly, we are doing this for the love of GAF and Destiny, we're not being paid and all work and are using our free time to do this..

What's the deal with the primary vs secondary groups in terms of activity levels. By the time I applied to us west coast it was full so now I'm in west coast group 2. It only has 12 members, and the ones I looked at aren't on PSN(I know the clans are supposed to be 50-50) and a few haven't played destiny yet.

Are there also inactive players in the main clan and if so, can they move to clan 2 so that I could actually find some more gaf peiple to play with online?

Now, is there any (sensible) way of actually grouping up?
Being in a clan seems to do nothing except give access to another forum where we can exchange PSN IDs and become friends, which seems a bit pointless.

Are there plans to actually have an actual clan interface in the beta, so I can see if clan members are about. All I can do is search for friends to join a fireteam, I can't search the clan.

If I've missed some obvious option to search for clan members, please get your Moon Wizard to cast an intelligence buff on me.

Again. Guys. Clan system is not implemented yet. It literally does jack shit right now besides some people being able to have the tag under their name. If you want gaffers to play with for now in the beta go to list of psn names and add folks there. This is all in preparation for the full game in september. I'm sure more members will appear as time goes by. Don't be impatient Bungie never said clans would be in the beta and it makes sense that they're not imho.

Set your Playstation clan to NA East 4 since the primary DestinyGAF Playstation clan is full.

Keep in mind guys, we're all a part of DestinyGAF as a whole, we just had to branch out into subgroups due to Bungie's 75 player clan limit per group.

Before you get super salty, it was Raishin who emptied the playstation clan for DestinyGAF, and it was for a good reason. Not because "someone wanted to make room for close friends"
