I think it automatically re centers the aim when you move.

Yup, it's the ecosystem of Live. I'm in the same boat. I wasn't as beholden to Live so I jumped ship for what seemed like a smarter choice to me at the time. All my real life buddies stuck with the Xbox brand though and now I find myself wondering if I should grab one. The bullshit exclusivity deal with Destiny is doing a good job of talking me out of it, though. Sure, I'd like to play with my friends, but I'm not going to buy an entire new console and pay the same price for a game I have elsewhere with more content. I have others I can play with on PSN anyway.

I haven't tried the game yet but my understanding of the Tower is that A) it's a vendor hub and more importantly B) is the place to hang and show off your character and the awesome gear you have (like Stormwind/Org for Wow players). I'm cool with this. So fucking cool with it.
You can even take your helmet off to show how good looking your creation is

Look downwards (say -30 degrees) for a second and you will notice it autocorrect to look straight. I tried it and found it to be annoying, so I turned it off.
Make it happen, Bungie! Best idea I've come across so far.

I just hope Bungie adds a "Go to the Tower" option when you bring up your Ghost so you don't have to fly into Orbit beforehand each time.

good idea as well, even better would be able to just pull up the whole destination map in general from the ghost. though that may complicate things with people joining and leaving fireteams. Since orbiting is the best sure fire way to join a team.

Yeah, I'm gonna respectfully say hell no to that one. Unless the ignore list can hold about 3,000,000 users. For every 1 person that would be cool to hear with this game's fanbase there are about 14 bamillion people I'd rather not hear. It would be like a youtube comment section come to life. No thanks.
On the seeds, I'm surprised that's not already in the game. Surely that will be added?

Yes please. Also, someone had mentioned that it's ridiculous to go back to orbit to join someone's fireteam when they are standing right in front of you. That needs to be fixed as well.

The gunrange, VR thing is a great idea. I'll file it alongside my Sparrow Circuit Racing one as must haves for the full game, or at least expansions. Seriously, give me Wip3out inspired racing, please!
can you not join them from the options menu, or inspecting their character when the R3 button pops up? Or maybe because their fireteam was already full?
yeah was thinking this as well. Escpecially as they are so fun to ride. Such great control and physics. Cant wait till they get some guns.

If you are looking at someone and you click the right stick and then push the options button I think you can choose to invite to or join a fireteam that way.

i swear I remember seeing join fireteam from the inspect menu. Or do you mean, when you do select join fireteam it loads the whole joining orbit cinematic and reloads the world? instead of just switching you to the team seamlessly without loading anything? your orginal comment implies you just cant join them at all, when they are in front of you.
