i'm nervous for brad. The podcast used to be where brad would make up for his late night dota play by sleeping and yawning for 2-3 hours. If he's hosting now he'll never sleep and be a danger to himself and his loved ones : /
I have to agree that it feels clear that for whatever reasons (and let me emphasize that we don't need to know the reasons and frankly they don't matter) Jeff has clearly decided to cut back on how much time he devoted to Giant Bomb.
If I knew the answer already I wouldn't be asking, take the stick from out of your ass.
Eh, TheLegendOfMart has been hating on brad for a long time now. If he doesn't want to listen because of him hosting than it's fair enough.
Jeff relaxing is happy Jeff. Happy Jeff is good for everyone including Jeff. But not Geoff, and definitely not Greg.
It'd be one thing if you ever offered any observation that wasn't negative or cynical, but you don't.
The answer is also all over this page. Take your own advice and maybe try not to be so miserable.
Yeah cause everything posted here is gospel truth, like the moronic Brad is leaving "jokes".

If there was a car racing MMO Jeff would probably join a Fast and the Furious RP server.
Is the entire map open in The Crew beta? If I could ignore the entire story and just initiate cross country police chases with extremely dogged AI whenever I want I might actually get it.
Haven't listened yet, has Brad taken over the hosting of Bombcast now?
More GB content I won't be consuming....
Based purely upon the missions I'm seeing in the quick look that's not much of a loss.Yes but there's only missions in Detroit.

I think Auto Assault pretty much ruined the chances of seeing another one of those.
Oh, the glory of always-on internet connection requirements.
Nice to see Ubisoft is bringing that lovely feature to consoles. Now I can avoid their bullshit on all platforms.
Did they say the final game would require you to be online at all times? This might just be a beta thing. I don't see why this game wouldn't have an offline mode.

I think GB has already changed so much it's not as appealing. Nothing negative about the new guys but I miss Vinny, Patrick and Ryan.
I just have to accept that I'll never be so entertained by them again in the same way. Very sad.
It's a MMO, MMO requires online connections.

Okay, I need to watch Cannonball Run now.Yeah, you can access the entire map so you can go and do the Cannonball Run.
I don't care what he feels really but he shouldn't be surprised in responses when he always acts like an irredeemable dick in this thread.
The Crew, everything together that I hate
Open world racing games
Always Online DRM masquerading as an MMO
Useless upgrade points and leveling up
Microtransactions
Hopefully it fails hard.
You can not like something but still wish it success for others that do like it.
I love open world racing games and the upgrading and leveling up and crazy amount of customization was one of my favorite parts of the old Need for Speed games. I bet there's a lot of others that love that gameplay style too.
Don't wish it ill simply because it's not your cup of tea.
Nope, sorry. I'm going to wish failure on any game that implements always-on DRM for a game that doesn't absolutely need it.
Ok I made this list, let me know if it's accurate.

Yep, and microtransactions.

I think it's silly to condemn micro transactions without knowing how they actually affect your gameplay. If the curve of acquiring stuff is fine without microtransactions, and the game is fun to play to get the things you would normally use microtransactions to purchase, I don't see why it is worth condeming. It offers another option to those who would like to use it and don't have the time otherwise, or those who just don't like playing games that long.
